I used this additive after filling my diesel astra with the dodgy Tesco fuel last year.
Car wouldn't start and was coughing withe smoke.
Emptied the tank, filled with Shell Diesel and this additive and no more problems so far.
Hot for me and I suggest you change garage :p

P.S.: They are right in saying that if you have a fairly new car, but with an old banger...

This stuff has been tested and tested over and over again.... the end result is always it makes no difference what so ever.

Hi there

I use TECH 2000 fuel treatment.

My cars are all diesel.
A rover 218 diesel did 450 miles to a tank when i first got it.
Serviced the car and put 1 can it the tank and 1 in the fuel filter neat.
Started the car it smoked a lot ran the car for two weeks the put 1 more in the tank.
Then checked the miles to a tank 540.
90 mile more to the tank.PS drive i hard not like miss daisy.
These additives do work very well on diesel cars co the fuel is not as clean as petrol
and clogs up the engine with soot a good thrash might do the job as well but i like tech 2000.

Bought and used the injector counterpart of this today, car smoother and consumption better already. Bargain, Hot. BTW, gave up tesco petrol a few months ago and it has made a difference.

I think you hit the nail on the head...

Cold snake oil!

My last car, a rather worse for wear Ford Galaxy, wouldn't drive smoothly unless this was in the tank.

I know about the lab tests and I respect the scientists who run them and their results, however, base4d on my empirical information descibed earlier I find this product to do what it says on the label.
May be just a coincidence

I guess it must be then....... its a placebo effect and a waste of money.

So true £1.80 spent now could end up becoming a expensive bill at the garage:thumbsup:
