I am going to place an order for this vehicle today and yes, I do have a 10-year old banger to participate in the scrappage scheme!
I'm looking for admiration or criticism now that the price has been reduced by a further £585

The Audi A6 2.0 TDIe, can drive up to 816 miles on a single tank of fuel (70 L) and the complimentary SE upgrade adds supreme comfort and style. The features of the SE upgrade include Milano leather upholstery, DVD-based Satellite navigation, Auto dimming rear view mirror, CD changer, Bluetooth handsfree

The engine trim is 1968 cc, 136 bhp, 139 g/km (£120 road tax), 53.3 mpg

OTR = £24,900 / Scrappage Scheme -£2,000 / Dealer Deposit -£2,500 / Dealer Discount -£585
What customer pays = £19,815

With the 2% APR finance deal, this offer becomes even more irresistible: http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/uk/en2/Financial_Services/Finance_Offers/Personal_Contracts/a6.html

Why is this being voted cold? Is it because it's not under £10?

YOU ARE GETTING A LOT FOR THE MONEY!!

 You have posted this for a second time! What did you expect.....It is clearly a deal you are happy with, but that doesn't mean you have to keep posting it on here lol - go buy it and enjoy it! :)

Seems a reasonable deal, not the sort of car I would go for (spend 20k on something 12months old and you get a lot more car for your money).

I'd still try and haggle them down though, bet you could get it close to 19k as the recent price cut shows they're not shifting many...

I posted it the second time, because I managed to get a further £585 off the initial cost. It's a new deal and hence the re-post.

You're gonna struggle with that left-hand drive.

Just make sure you don't forget to use your indicators, as many who drive flash motors.

I am interested but would like to know exactly what the "Dealer Deposit -£2,500" is about.
Would you mind PM'ing me the name of the dealer you are negotiating with ?

I wonder if mervinsx works for an Audi dealer... Spam...

Wouldn't driving this make you look like a male chicken?

Very nice car, go for it mate. But I still reckon you could either haggle a few more quid off, or get an extra free upgrade (better alloys etc)

Yes but that is something you have managed to personally do, if someone is after one of these I am pretty sure they will go down to the showroom themeselves and get the deal taylored for them.

If I go down to the market and purchase something with x amount off, I don't come and shout about it on here each and every time I get it slightly cheaper. If I book a holiday with cheap flights I don't come on here and post each flight - it is quite specified and unique to each individual.

Again well done for getting a good deal - it sounds to me like you are looking for moral support for people to say buy it buy buy it - are you sure you can actually afford it??

if a customer is buying the car using audi's finance deal (1.8% APR) - the dealer is then required by audi to discount the vehicle by £2,500 - this is on the audi website as well. the additional £585 is what i personally negotiated with the dealers in Hull :-D

that's your personal choice  i wanted to share the deal which i managed to get, so that others could do the same with their dealers too! i wasn't looking for any moral support - i wanted someone to beat the deal & no one did. so i placed the order for the car today! :whistling:

affordability is none of your business, but if you need to know - the monthly installment is just a fraction of what i put away in my savings every month! :p

if audi can afford to splash out on half-page newspaper ads of this deal, why do you think a dealer's employee would come up with a post like this on hotukdeals? :w00t:

You have just backed up Clarksons theory that it is indeed cocks that drive Audis - don't suppose you used to drive a BMW? lol
