Tesco are discounting some of their normally expensive imported US cereals down from £7!? to £2.50. Cap'n Crunch is ADHD in a box. It should only be eaten by unresponsible adults who can enjoy its buttery sweet salty deliciousnous & ignore its (UK stuck on) label warning (see pic in post below). MMMmmmmm...delicious...and the GM ingredients makes my milk taste like popcorn. :) So send your kids off to school on a nice big bowl of this..and maybe with a Red Bull top up. And wait for the call....

Haha. Thanks. Go for it! I've just had a monster bowl full...and I think I can hear a buzzing coming from my eyeballs. oO

I tried it out of curiosity when they first had it in. We have organic this...and free range that....but I just cant help it. I found Cap'n Crunch delicious!? :(.....sadly in my frenzy I genuinely bought two boxes...and have hidden them behind the Organic Weetabix. :p

And they say GM food should be cheaper... £7 for a pack of cereals!!!!! WTF, even £2.50 seems expensive...
Saying that I would definitely try them if my local tesco still has them :)

The photo of the box is 10 months out of date!!

Don't get me wrong, I'll eat food past it's 'Best Before', but charging £2.50 for something THAT old (unless it's just a very old photo?) is scandalous, if not illegal.

Should have gone to Specsavers?

The date is 13/08/14.

:p

The prices on all Tesco's US foods are outrageous. £7 for a box of cereal, £5 for a bottle of A1 sauce etc.. I guess they're just out to milk anyone who wants a taste of home.

lol love that disclaimer

Sooo will people get a buzz with this or zone out staring at a wall for an hour?

Heat for the title and blurb. Very amusing. I am off on my hols to the US next week might try me a box, instead of my usual fruit loop frenzy. :)

Cheers!

"Fruit" loops!? nah....anything with (implied) fruit in the title is farrr too healthy. Get some crunch in your munch! :p

Trust me the fruit is very much implied. They are just as unhealthy ( and hopefully as tasty) as Captain crunch.

Do you know if the other US cereal 'Lucky Charms' (with the marshmallow pieces in) is also reduced?
