The production of Bizet's masterpiece that sold out the Royal Albert Hall has been re-staged on a monumental scale especially for The O2 for just three performances only.
Performed by a superb cast of over 200 artists, including dancers, acrobats and fire-eaters, a wonderful set and fabulous costumes bring to life the dusty atmosphere of the town square, the cool night
air of the smugglers' mountain hideout and the colourful festivities outside of the bullring in Seville.
Sung in English, Bizet's unforgettable score contains some of opera's best loved music. Accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Carmen is an impressive spectacle that will have you on the edge of your seat.
Standard readers can get tickets for only £10 (usually £25) or £20 (usually £35). Carmen takes place at The O2 on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 May 7.30pm and Sunday 23 May 2.30pm.
