Do any company buy topups from simcards?

I've got a few from cpw but lying around not bring used, I'd rather sell them for cheaper price or even half the price...

Are these Apple refurbs or Tesco returns?

It says manufacturer refurbished in the link so it is Apple refurb and will is pretty much as new :)

Anyone with experience of buying ipads form here? It says may have scratches, would be grateful if anyone has firsthand experience. Thanks

I bought a refurb Samsung Note 10.1 and it was brand new as far as I could see. The box was a mess, but the contents were sealed and spotless.

What's the problem people have with plastic all of a sudden! :{

Luck of the draw unfortunately

If it's an Apple refurbished sold by Tesco I would assume that they are like new (different box though) and come with full warranty.
#17
Ours is due Tuesday so I will let you know. If it is to apple's usual standard as a refurb it will be perfect but they put that to cover themselves!
#18
If it is refurbished by apple they replace battery and a new case so should not be scratched at all. From apple site

The white bezel underneath the glass is probably plastic

Lol, this is not about Google vs apple. It is about this being a good deal for the given product. Think about it before voting as it is quite simple really! :)

Tempted, have the iPad 2 and need an upgrade.

From the site, it must meet apple's high standards as a manufacturer approved vendor.

Manufacturer refurbished
An item that has been professionally restored to working order by a manufacturer-approved vendor. This means the product has been inspected, cleaned and repaired to meet manufacturer specifications and is in excellent condition. This item may or may not be in its original packaging. See the seller’s listing for full details.

Thanks for the information, this is definitely a new thing as Tesco Apple refurbs are never usually to the Apple standard. Apple never sell refurbs with scratches.

Have deleted my previous comment though, in light of this information.

Thanks, this info is very important :)

I recently bought an iPad mini from the Tesco ebay outlet store at a saving of £140 off the new price. I must say they were excellent- next day courier delivery and the ipad itself was in mint condition. No scratches to the screen, and no marks to the back, sides or bezel. It really was as new.

I'd definitely look to buy from them again.

If only it were a 32gb at that price as missed out on the staples deal for a new 32gb iPad 4 for less than £300

Don't think anyone got that one.

15 of one colour = all sold out.
30 of other colour = all sold out.

OOS. Missed it.

Thanks anyway OP.

On some devices it just feels and looks cheap. Of course, plastic is cheaper to manufacture compared to other materials.

If it is refurbished by apple they replace battery and a new case so should not be scratched at all. From apple site

From the Tesco outlet listing

Seller notes: “This item is professionally refurbished. It is pre-owned and may have cosmetic marks or scratches. It is supplied in either the original box, which could be marked or scuffed, or a brown box.”

Well that sounds more like the Tesco refurbs I know and hate. Apple do not release refurbished product with cosmetic damage. They also refurbish in-house, as far as I'm aware (obviously they don't actually refurbish everything themselves but they don't provide a list of 'approved' refurbishers)

Seems worth a go at this price and if there's any problems you have 7 days to send it back.
#33
Hi - Update for anyone making a future purchase of these if available again.

Mines just arrived, in its original Apple Box, all in perfect working order as new with NO scratches etc visible.

Appreciate this maybe an individual experience, but i'm very happy with the item I have received and would recommend :-)
#34
Ours came today, perfect condition, no scratches. All accessories were as new in packaging. Box was marked but only slightly. Very impressed :)
#35
Yes, I bought one too. It has some minor marks on the back. For £100 off the price of a new one still can't argue with it!
