Hi guys, the link seems to have timed out and I can't find the refurb deals through the site - can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks :)

Go here:
http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore
Then bottom right corner image ("Looking for a great Deal...").

Thanks X10, I changed the original link to that. Looks like Apple started using session id's in their links or something.

Top stuff thanks a lot X10 - it's always obvious when someone else points it out! DOH! :) And thanks Maccer for the deal, think I may get a sisters xmas pressie out the way!

I take it the offer has ran out, there's no refurbished anything on that link.
[admin]#8
Nope it's still there. Follow X10's directions (i.e. scroll down and click the refurb store link on the right hand menu).

Are these the old or new ipod nano's?

These are the previous 1st Gen iPods.

Also 512MB 1st Gen Shuffle - Under £30 (these have great sound quality for what they are BTW).

Don't forget your 3% Quidco!
#12
Great deal. I've got one and it looks brand new!

No problem all.
Apple have been using session ID's for a while, so yes, once you click on anything passed the main shop page it gives you a session which expires after 5 minutes of inactivity. It makes it cery hard to link to anything on their site, but perhaps that's part of the plan.
Glad to see everyone is happy with the deal and their Nano's :), Apple seem to offer these up every few weeks.

I would go for the new one. The body is more resistant to scratches, is slightly slimmer and has better battery life. I think they will have to reduce their refurb prices still further to compete with the new models.

I don't think they will be in any rush to reduce refurb prices because you are talking about them competing against themselves, if they sell the refurbs too low they will sell less new units that probably have a bigger profit margin.

this is the official link for refurb ipods (which generates new cookies):
http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore?family=CertifiediPod

for refurb macs:
http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore?family=Certified

hope this helps.

You're so clever -- apart from not being able to spell "off" of course.

Get a grip.

Can't seem to find a 2GB Nano for Boots at this price. Can you come up with a link?

Thanks
#24
Price at Boots is £99 but with 10% off code, triple clubcard pts & quidco effective price is £72.
#25
Can anyone confirm that the boots ipods are teh newer version?
Thanks
Mark
EDIT
Ok maybe the "The completeThe completely remastered ipod Nano." gives it away!
How come boots are chargeing £99 for a Silver one and £130 for a black one(2GB) demand?
