Yep I ordered a 2gb in white and have the confirmation e-mail

Hopefully there will be more to plunder once its back up and running.

Do note that these are first gen model (better in looks - to some) but inferior in features / build.

I don't see those prices, all I see are 2gb for £99 and the others for £129

You need to go to the refurb section of the site which you reach by clicking on the link inthe bottom right of the page. As it happens there are no refurb ipods listed just now.

Please take the percentage savings figure with a pinch of salt.

The 4GB Black for instance can be had HERE for £109.25 brand new so Apples' quote of a 42% saving is compared to their original price quite a while ago. These are Gen 1 version iPods which have been replaced by the metal body Gen 2 versions. You can get the Gen 2 4GB version for around £120.

If you really want the old style model with the shiny (i.e. scratches easily) body then this is still a reasonable price otherwise people may wish to consider a new one for only a little more.

Oh yes I see now.

Thank you :)

Just wondering how you know what generation the nano is? I can't see it saying that on the site anywhere?

Just look at the colour and design. Gen 1 are black or white with metal backs and shiny. Gen 2 are different colours and look like a smaller version of the old ipod minis.

Just ordered mine, it took just a few minutes. Given a delivery date between 26/30 Jan. Excellent. Well done.

Good price, but agree I would pay the little extra and get new nano from amazon or John Lewis.

Hi, I'm new to this site. I'm interested in buying a £65 ipod nano. What do you mean by 'refurb'? Is it going to work and does it look new? That's all I care for the product lol
#13
i don`t understand why people are buying these nano`s when you can go on ebay and buy mp4 players which look the same do more and are a fraction of the price !!!!!

duhp

it comes in a brown box, apart from that you wouldn't notice the difference.

i believe that the insides are pre-owned but the casing is new.

also, you might as well get 4gb rather than 2gb as the prices have changed a couple of weeks back.

most arrive next day - ok there's a new model but some prefer the old styling and it saves a few quid.
