Hot to me! I'm sure these were £125 yesterday in the refurb store!

Wow people are quick on that cold button,

Well it's first gen, so in the broader context some people might consider it a bad deal I suppose

Here's the full iPod Touch refurb list:
1st gen
8gb: £105
16gb: £155
32gb: £215

2nd gen (current)
8gb: £129
16gb: £195

I just bought a brand new 32gb 2nd generation touch from Fleabay for £220 which is far less than Apple website charges for new and only £5 more than they charge for a 1st generation 32gb refurb, i know where i would get one from !!!!

I got a 1st gen in the recent O2 deal and it is a cracking bit of kit. I actually prefer the shape and the lack of speaker doesn't bother me a bit. However, you will struggle to find a decent case for it. I found none on the high street and had to resort to ebay but got a nice Griffin clear case...lovely.

Don't forget 4% quidco.
#7
Cheers, added it to the post along with additional info!

Good deal, why bother with fleabay when you get full warranty on these from apple?
Got a refurb last year, arrived next day, full warranty, only difference from new was the box.

My Ipod touchi bought from Fleabay comes with the full years warranty from Apple, as you get it when you register the ipod.

They also have refurbs of current gen Ipod Nano 8GB for £79 and 16GB for £109

Yep, was a great price @ O2 (£95?). Plus unlike these you got a brand new unit with a brand new BATTERY - these could have been very abused in that dept, which makes a big difference to the battery life and thus usability. :?

However, have to disagree on the speaker and volume controls - once you have the ability to listen to movies, run games and generally share/show stuff to friends without phones you will never go back - its just SO convenient!

Plus in the recent Argos deal they threw in a speaker dock, superb leather case and £15 of itunes - smashing offer!!

Cue the "why buy iPod when Sony/Creative/Microsoft MP4 players are far better".......
#14
Couldnt live without my ipod and iphone. great product.
#15
yeah no. not hot. got 1st gen 16gb for £125 when o2 had that redonkulous deal on.

....and then was so impressed by it that i went and purchased a 32gb 1nd gen full price anyways....

*sigh* even getting bargains is expensive.
#16
16Gb Nano's for £109 too, good price.

Anybody crazy about ipod has the pretension to be connaisseur, a cut above us peasants. I used to one of those. After trawling through the websites, I think I would go for something that has got more functionality. Imagine, no flash! Bhwarrrrrr! And you think you are cool!:-D

Whereas I prefer the ones that hold their value for years to come and the second to none customer service......

Can't argue with buying an iPod, they're very good. Admittedly I do now own a Creative but my old iPod 4G was excellent. I don't understand why anybody would be an iPod Touch though. 8gb refurb for £105?! Crazy.

You have to remember that a refurb is "as new" pretty much anyway. Except it comes in a unbranded box, that's all. Apple refurbs are renown for being high quality especially compared to some other companies.

Well...even if it was brand new, I couldn't even begin to contemplate spending £105 on something that holds only 8gb. Seems a bit of a rip off.

Just to clarify...not anti-iPod at all, I love the classics!

I do agree with that especially as the 32GB one is over £200
