I bought one of these from Kodak before xmas - paid £29.99. Couldnt be happier. Arrived in a brown box but packaged very well and although not in retail packaging the camera refurb was done to such a standard couldnt tell it wasnt brand new. It was scratch free and obviously had had its body replaced and screen etc - absolute bargain. I got a 4mp one to replace one I bought 4 years ago (same model that i paid £399 for. Now theyre cheaper as theyre also older designs but 4mp is perfectly fine for family pics and holiday snaps. Great for presents to people who havent got a digital camera yet.

I got one of their refurbished cameras 2 months ago and it had a scratch on it.

They did not refund my postage when I returned it.

Good find. Need to upgrade my old sureshot, this could be the opportunity.

heat added.

I have one of the Kodak C330 cameras bought new several years ago.
I recently saw a good deal on a 2Gb. SD card and bought it without thinking. No way will such an old camera recognise a memory card as big as this even after a firmware upgrade and you may well have difficulty buying new SD memory small enough nowadays.

Dont forget 5% Quidco

These aren't particularly cheap. C763 I bought brand new from high street for £79.99 3 months ago. Kodaks refurb price £69.99 and only half the warrenty

Not a bad find though it looks for a refurb you are saving on average £10? The Easyshare Z710 is £10 more at PC World .

Still worth the saving to some.

Would be good to see a bigger picture of the camera when you clicked on it instead of a printer!!

Oh, also the Z710 is £79.96 (grade A) from eBuyer and £89.99 from Kodak..

Having owned a Kodak camera and the Easyshare dock I can confirm that I would never buy anything made by them again.

Strange, but the majority of the replies are quite negative though the thermometer is reading 158. Relatively hot but not roasting. Am I missing something with this one?... thanks !!

I just voted down, but the thermometer went up :-D

Anyway, I've had Kodak cameras and a printer dock for several years. I've always found them to be well made, and producing excellent images. I currently have a Z712IS, and I will probably choose Kodak again when I upgrade. The printer dock makes it really easy to recharge the battery, and transfer pics.

We bought a new Kodak for a trip to Egypt last year and it went caput 1 week into the holiday. we emailed Kodak for help but they didn't reply until 2 months later. I have phoned & written but they just ignore you. So I would't by a Kodak if you paid me

Last time I ordered one it came from Germany, so I suspect the website is maintained from there as well - how's your German? ;-)

A lot of people will vote hot without adding comments - negative feelings usually get expression in the thread. Seems pretty good to me at the price - especially if you want to get kids into photography without having to worry whether they'll wreck the thing so a positive vote from me:thumbsup:
