OR £607.13 when purchased with Quidco!!

120GB, 2GB Ram, Includes FREE iLife '09 Suite & OSX 10.5 Leopard.

I have the 1.83GHz version of this, with the combo drive so no DVD re-writer so I have gone for this as using Quidco the price is a steal!

if you already had the 1.83 ghz will upgrading to 2 ghz make any noticeable difference? I upgraded my combo drive to superdrive and the hard drive myself for less than £150. Guide available on ifixit.

Not a bad deal but to upgrade from a model so close its not worth it. Well it is if you have no idea how to use a screw driver or read then cracking upgrade.

Cheaper refurb deal on Argos for £550, same spec accept its 1GB ram.

Cheers.

that said, I do not have a warranty on this one any more, I have full Adobe suite CS3, iwork '09 and ilife '09

If I sell it I can get at least £450 for it and get this new refurb one with a dvd writer a bit faster, better graphics card, 1 year warranty and the option of adding applecare for under £200

where is this deal? cheapest macbook on Argos is £699 with 1.5% cash back.

btw Quidco has just tracked the apple money

[edit] just had a look at argos's ebay feedback. I would rather pay the extra and have the apple service than spend nearly £600 and risk getting treated like some of Argos's customers...

Its not on the regular Argos site but their refub site

And as they sell @18,000 items a month I think a positive of 99.3% is fab!

Cheers
