could be £32.50 for Mix and Match 300 - does not say it does not apply to 6 month contracts

it's a new deal so instore only atm, maybe added to the website soon though? Still a bargain for £90 over 6 months
#6
Could the cold voters please post where this phone can be found with a better deal?
#7
Unfortunately it is a Series40 phone so unlike S60 phones and better (6630 N70 N73 N80 N85 N86) will not run applications like TomTom etc.

Indeed it is a s40 phone, it's very nice though I have replaced my old s60 an n70 with it. As far as having tomtom goes I have a dedicated satnav for that :)
#9
I think you will find that it's also only for new customers
#10
I think this is a good deal - 6 month contract
#11
i voted cold due to the back up services that 3 provide. the customer service is far far away .........and rubbish....or worse than that
#12
nice phone - very solidly built.

If you need a RAF number then PM me, I think I will need one aswell maybe.
#13
i had this phone- it's good
#14
You will need to spend 6 months talking to 3 customer support trying to cancel it at the end - LOL

You phone them after 5 month's: 1 month/30 days before your contract is up and tell them you want to cancel at the end of the period. No different to any other operator.

You must be joking - I ran out of battery that last time I tried to cancel with 3 (it was almost full when I started!).
The cancellations dept is only open 9-5, when you get there they will not cancel until you have spoken to their upgrades dept. They try every trick in the book to stop you canceling.

I was a three customer for 5 years with at least 4 phones - we have 1 left and would not entertain going back with them because of both this, their poor 3g coverage and problems with their billing.

Sounds like every other mobile operater I have ever been with ;-). Complaining about coverage but you stuck with them for 5 years with 4 contracts? LOL. Anyway You have all ready made your opinion clear please don't trash my thread any further because you have a personal vendetta agains't three. Cheers

Its very simple to quit the contract after 6 months you ring and ask for a pac code as soon as you get it pass it to your new operator and the contract is finished - I think people just bombard 3 threads because its 3. I for one have always had good service from 3

Sounds like brilliant service - you moved to a different operator, plus with a PAC code you never know exactly the date it will take effect so you will probably get less than 6 months airtime even though you have paid for it.

Old technology phone - poor operator - Nuff said.

Sorry about ur thread Purple - nothing personal.

In answer to your following message, I will edit this previous 'useless' post to reply -
90 quid less the quidco if you get it is probably reasonable for this phone but IMHO not a blistering bargain plus however you get on with 3 (coverage, support etc.) you have to get out of the deal at the end and this can be a fairly traumatic experience - unless they wait for just me to give a hard time to.

I wish you a happy new year too.

Why didnt you just edit your previous useles post if you were going to insist on trolling further *sigh* (this is rhetorical)

s60 is old tech too ffs what a **** argument for trashing my thread. s40 is still capable software no it can't load .sis files and sure that would be nice but you get what you pay for. It's still a high quality build phone with a nice form factor and plenty of functionality. You couldn't buy it cheaper on paug elsewhere. It's DCT-4 so very easy to unlock so you could put whatever sim from whatever bloody operator you like in and still SAVE money which is the whole point of this site.

Sheebus.

this is not a DCT4 handset, its a BB5 handset. cannot be unlocked for free, your looking £20-£35

WARNING the signal on this phone is REALLY bad, even when outside in London you may not get signal, ESPECIALLY with 3

totally disagree. i myself took out this deal yesterday and im an existing customer so i don't know where you're getting your info from but its nonsense

gR8_mUndA
any quidco?

well yes, on other cheepo phones but not on this particular model as its a clearance phone so they wont be list it on the website

it is a very hot deal though if you are lucky enough to find them cos like i said its a clearance phone and once they're gone, they're gone
no reason for people to vote cold though. i do wish they say where they can get a better deal:x

Ah your right, the slide is BB5 and the classic is dct4, I forgot there were 2 versions of this phone
#28
classic is also bb5 ;) as for the deal its a cracking deal took it out myself yesterday online (didn't care about phone) and im also an existing customer with 2 other accounts
#29
This deal is ancient, i'm surprised it's never been posted before.
It was online about about a month ago, probably taken off as most stocks were cleared.
Not a bad deal, but a heavy phone, put it in your breast pocket and the folks will think you've had a sex change.:p

Three has over 99% coverage in the UK which is more than T-mobile.
#31
Why are you people voting this cold? Are you stupid? Brain damaged perhaps?

This phone has a total cost of £90, plus £30 quidco (or £60 if you refer a family member).

A maximum cost of £60 for a phone worth £100+ on ebay.

And if you don't like the 3 customer service or the signal - DONT USE IT. Keep it for 6 months and then CANCEL! This is FAR cheaper than PAYG or EBAY, so this is a brilliant deal.

if it wasn't only instore I would snap it up.

You people really need to start using that small thing between your ears called a 'brain'.

Can this phone run Skype?
