It's crazy the price used iphones go for. 2year old iPhone 6's 16gb (good condition)could make £300 or more on eBay. My daughter paid £285 for a 128gb one probably a B grade at best and it's classed as a bargain. Madness

not really madness as no one loses out too much. In the Android space people could spend £600 then end up selling for £250 a year later. Great for the second buyer but terrible for the early adopter.

My friend just sold his 5 year old iPhone 4s for £60 after using all those years, utter madness !!

If you buy something electronic at £600 then you'd expect it to be worth no more than say £250 after 2 years. iPhone's are selling for silly prices after this time which keeps the price of new handsets even higher. This gives the producer the excuse to keep the handset prices high. So really everyone on the consumer end loses out. The price some used phone sell for 2,3 or 4 years after they were introduced is the price that old model new stock should really be costing. I think it's good that phones are being kept alive for years but the prices are over board. IMO
