The X-T2 has finally arrived there with £220 off the new price

Certainly the cheapest I've seen it and have ordered one. There were 4 left at time of posting

Great stuff! Superb price. Good to see other bodies starting to come back in stock too. Picked up another x-t1 with 18-135mm last week for £725...crazy. Plus a couple of x-a2 kits.

Wouldn't pay so much for a non full frame sensor camera
23.6mm x 15.6mm(APS-C)X-Trans CMOS III
Just to end up buying set of camera specific lenses and no alternative

Depends...Full frame cameras need bigger full frame lenses, and not all us want a big system to lug around. I moved from a full frame Sony a7 (terrible camera to use, despite having a bigger sensor) and a Canon EOS 6D (great camera but a big system) to a Fuji x system and am perfectly happy.

Reading the forums there's quite a few people who have sold their Full Frame Nikons in favour for one of these.

I'm not sure if you are serious. However the Fuji X system has gone from strength to strength, from the quality of the hardware to the usability and adaptability. The Fuji lenses are as good as Nikon/Canon and the end results (photos) are excellent.

This is a decent price for an excellent body, I would say however that at the end of February the X-T20 is out, which is almost as good and pre-orders are about £799.

I too moves from a full frame Nikon to a compact camera system - it's much easier to carry when travelling or hiking.

X-t20 is a good shout. I have an X-t10 and I love it as a smaller backup. I do find the larger bodies better built and more suitable for taking on a hike (hence ordering this)

X series are nice cameras, a bit overrated though in my opinion.

It's the same with any camera system.

It is, but you can usually use your old lens system with it (via adapters with restrictions) and usually the full size lenses are much higher quality and will not be superseded so rapidly

There's plenty of adapters available to allow your old Nikon or Canon lenses to fit the Fuji X mount. Typically cost about £15.

If you think it will be superseded, get the GFX 50S instead :{
