  Has anybody bought a refurbished ipad from Apple before - are they actually like new or do they have scratches and marks? Are they covered by guarantee in the same way a new one would be?

  They are as new, we had a problem with one and the Apple store replaced ours with a refurbished one, it was as new.

  I don't understand why people don't like iTunes.
  
  In my experience, the people that criticise it don't know how to use it.
  
  They cite things like "I lost all my music". - (No, actually you deleted or moved the .itl file)
  
  Or they don't understand how the tags and sorting fields work.
  
  Never had a problem with it and I've got 60k tunes in it, all perfectly tagged.

  I noticed this before the post went up but once I'd added one to my basket, answered the phone and got back to it my cart was empty! :)
  
  Never mind I was thinking of buying an Acer 510 from Amazon but CPW is supposedly going to sell them next month for £20 less and I could preorder a 700 for not that much more. I'll have to cancel my expansys pre-order as they are quoting £399 for the A510 now! £50 more than CPW and £30 more than the current Amazon price.
