Personally i'm very very very tempted to buy one but i don't need another computer at the moment, maybe not the best day to buy a new Apple product with at an Apple Event later today, but i don't believe the mac mini's are due an update till later this year. i know this listing will be shot down in flames due to the premium price you pay for Apple computers, but if you could afford an Aston Martin or a Ferrari why would you buy a Lada Riva lol

This is really due for an update with the now really old Core 2 Duo, such a high price for such an old processor. I would wait until they update it to i5.

But if you must have one now you can get a brand new one from Dixons http://www.dixons.co.uk/gbuk/apple-mac-mini-mc270b-a-06867415-pdt.html use code hardware10 to get it for £528.32

Build a better hackintosh for £300-£400....sure it won't look as nice, but it'll blow this away.

I'd rather buy a used Macbook or iMac than buy this new. At least you'd get a keyboard/trackpad and screen. These have never been good value in my opinion.

You could build a Shuttle system with near £2000 Mac Pro Xeon Quad performance for about the same price:

£200 - i7 Quad 2.8 Ghz CPU
£150 - Shuttle mobo + case + 300W psu
£50 - graphics
£80 - 8GB 1800MHz memory
£40 - 1 TB hard drive
£30 - Slimline DVD/RW

£550

A bit like this CustoMac Mini specification....(prices a bit out of date...come down a lot since written)
