Thanks. £50.40 (after cashback) is a good price. I cannot buy as I bought 4 mobiles from carphonewarehouse/e2save within 12 months.

Warning, it will upset you!

Isn't the i5501 due 2.2 whereas the i5500 is still stuck on 2.1?

It's a Carphone Warehouse company. Every time I've used them they've delivered next day without problems. Each to their own, I guess.

e2save usually doesn't pay cashbacks. It does track but declines later on.

This is a drop in the ocean in the grand scheme of things ie you can have a puppy blow torched alive to tenderize the meat better in Korea, the French set fire to lorries of cows and other live stock coming from Britain during the BSE and foot and mouth outbreaks, in Russia they will skin a dog alive to make a coat, in China you can have a cat boiled alive for food. This kind of thing happens constantly throughout the world. Deal with it.

Out of curiosity, would it have made you feel better if they shot them first?

No.

e2save are the worst, most unscrupulous cowboys I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Avoid at all costs. You have been warned.

I have just recently used this company with no problems at all. It was another deal on here. The Nokia 1800 for 0.01p.
I bought 2 and they arrived the next day. The £10 top up was added a day later.
I had to email them to ask about the top up and the reply came back very quickly.
So in my case all was well with e2save.
I have even recommended them to friends ( That may well turn out to be a mistake :) )
The trouble is that if you have a problem with any company it can be very frustrating to try to sort the problem out over the phone or by email. Lots of people, including me, end up as a raging mess trying to deal with some CS numpties.

For what its worth, I got my samsung galaxy S through them (bout 9 months ago), and no issues at all.

Cashback was paid too (tho took a month but thats the norm where its a contract that can still be canceled).

*shrug*

cph and their associated companies are good - as long as you don't have to call their CS or their product doesn't break.

if it does... you really get to know why they sell stuff cheap - there's no way you can get a repair/refund out of them.

been there, done that. never again.

Go to a Samsung-approved warranty centre; they'll fix it for free if it's less than 2 years old. It's a simple fix, they'll just reflash the software.

mine arrived in 24 hours with quidco email
white box, battery, usb cable, charger, manual and phone in safety film front, back and over the camera
what is t mobile free text for life though

Arrived faulty. It didn't recognize any SD cards. I was not surprised as e2save always send out faulty handsets when bought refurbished ones. I phoned up their customer service to swap it with non-refurb model. Make sure you check yours properly while it's still in 28 days return policy.
