Ebay deal of the days are allowed in the deals section pal
#3
oh ok, didn't know that. i'll tidy up the title etc

Bought a "refurbished" NC10 from these a year ago. It was immaculate and in original packaging. Clearly returned by someone who had barely taken it out of the box. Hot from me.
#5
I have one of these, it's a splendid little machine.
Refurb often means nothing of the sort. You may well find it's brand new and the "refurb" logo is often used just to clear an overstock.
Go for it. Heat added.

Which OS does this come with?

Edit:
Assume it's XP that other models ship with?

I remember buying a refurb sharp gx30i from the vodafone store years ago on ebay. Paid £90 for what was then a top of the range £300+ phone, and there was no indication it wasn't a new one whatsoever!
Great deal.

missed outon the dell for 159 so tempted !!
#12
i saw this on ebay but i bought the nc10, now i need to see if that is 6 cell or 3 cell
#13
Just ordered one.

You've just given a link showing all the negative feedback ... being fair, 138 negative feedback comments vs 20,000+ positive is perfectly fine.
#16
hot deal from me
#17
hmm the nc10 or this n130?? choices choices ..

After some googling i opted for the nc10.. but nice deal O.P

I did the same :)

The N130 is newer, but its actually a cut down version of the NC10.

Got my order for the NC10 yesterday :D

Shame its 3 cell, but should be able to pick up a 6 cell for £20-£30.

I've sent a PM to unexpire.

Why does Argos have feedback as a buyer?

Why does Argos have feedback as a buyer?

Why not? Shouldn't Andy Argos also be given the right to buy as well as sell ... it's only fair
#24
is the nc10 defo a 3 cell?
#25

What, 99.4% positive is not good feedback ???????????????????????????????

its not just neg feed back its the lack of communication and good old manners that gets ppl and it seems this tool has neither vishy01234 licking **** a bit , you got something to gain?
#27
Hmm, very tempting but tricky to know if it'll be good enough.
#28
I think this is a really good deal

Be aware this is NOT as good as the NC10

It only has one inbuilt speaker ( so don't expect stereo unless you use headphones)
No bluetooth ( not a major loss)
Inferior webcam
Lower battery life than the 6 cell NC10
Inferior 10.1" screen ( original NC10 had a better 10.2" screen - though newer models have the 10.1" )

If these don't matter to you then its a fairly good deal. The lack of stereo speakers would put me off though.
Don't buy a refurb NC10 from Argos though unless it states it has the 6 cell battery. Argos had a 3 cell version of the NC10 - made just for them ( so they could sneakily sell at a lower price than other suppliers)
#31
so the nc10 i bought from argos is it definitely a 3cell
#32
Not definitely - mine is a six cell. Try googling your model number or more importantly the product number printed on the battery.

IIRC correctly the standard six cell is 5200mAh and thats stamped on the battery. The three cell is substantially less, around 2200 or something similar
#33
ive just checked, its a 2200 so i think its 3 cell.damn not good.,how much did you pay for your refurb
#34
250, but that was when a new one was around 330
#35
do you know wheres the best place to get a 9cell battery, shall i try ebay
#36
ive requested a return to ebay clearance, ive stated it doesnt hold 4hours charge and the sleeve is missing so hopefully if they have another one they can send me one which is 6cell.the problem is they have ran out of nc10s on there ebay site
#37
I opted for the samsung nc10, slightly cheaper and had great reviews, I've just had it delivered today, it's immaculate, using it to type this now. picked up my wireless signal straight away and connected.Great little machines.I assume the n130 is the next model up so if it's anything like the nc10 I'd go for it.
#38
Hi chegwin,

Where did you buy your NC10 from pls?
#39
what battery did u get chegwin?
#40
i got it from argos off the e bay outlet, but it only came with the 3 cell battery, lasted about 2 1/2 hours from the battery, just browsing the web, i noticed yesterday they had the samsung n130 down to £159.99 on there, but they had all gone.I'm not so bothered about the battery life,as it will just be used in the house for when the kid's need it when i'm on the desktop. The power lead is about 10 foot long anyway,so it always can reach a power point.
