Cheers for that - heat from me by the way (_;)

Got one of these for my son a while back for £19.99, they are not very good value as the cushion is very thin and uncomfortable as it only sits on nylon straps (the straps they use in pacakaging). I had to go and buy another cushion for it.

For £15 they are prob worth it, but dont expect to much comfort

Does it state anywhere the maximum weight they can take? I'm "big-boned".....
#6
i have the kids ones which are almost exact replicas of my ikea one. I have just checked under the cushions and even the seating is the same!

Generally I have been pretty happy with the kids version, but to be honest if your "big boned" ;) you might be better looking else where.

My toddler likes using it as a trampoline and while its withstands her abuse, because of the way its designed (minimal parts holding LHS and RHS of the chair) I have to keep pushing in the wooden backing slabs into the holes. Now I know you wont be jumping on yours ! but I could see the same thing happening if you put more weight on one side as you stand up.

Is it just me or does this look *identical* to Ikea's £60 Poang? I have the Ikea one (which I got 2nd hand with footstool for £40) and it's fantastic - so comfy!

Aww man, we bought 2 of these for £50 each not long ago. :(

one of the reviews states " I'm a little above average in weight female and when i sat in the chair i was virtually laying flat on my back. I now lean it agains my bed or desk to stop the chair bending back and it's great." so I suppose there is the solution!!! I'm quite light so can't comment apart from to say it really is v comfortable

gonna check my asda next time im in, gonna get in soon so hopefuly i get one

It could be in tartan fabric and for the price would still be hot.

Some people...

Got this nearly 4 years ago for a similar price.. still decent
#21
looks well tacky and cheap very cold .

Got a Ikea leather relaxer one. Nice chairs & if they are just as good then this is an absolute bargain for the price. Must drop by my local Asda & get 2 if any stock avail.

Sorry, not related to this specific deal, just a general whine.

I filter to "Show Online Deals Only", but still get loads and loads of deals come up that have "Instore Only". Why do these come up? Is it an error by the OP, or some kind of fault with the HUKD filters?

If deals tagged as "Online Deals" are not available online, should they be expired?

About this deal, I used to have an Ikea Poang chair which looks identical to the pic for this deal, loved that chair, it was great :) Looking on the Ikea website now, looks like the Poang design has been updated and they are slightly different. My chair looks identical to the Asda one, and not really like the current Ikea ones. Maybe Asda bought up all the old stock from Ikea?

They are not identical to IKEA, the IKEA ones are comfortable (no nylon strapping) the ASDA ones are not

Anyone actually got one of these? :)

Also how big are the boxes they come in?

I think we both know that the distinct probability is that "big boned" means he/she is a salad dodger.

In truth I *am* 6' 7 and about 18 stone.
