They are only ceramic plated, not solid ceramic, a bit like buying a gold plated watch rather than solid gold *

*Thats the wife opinion not mine :?
My sister brought thses for £55 last Christhmas and the verdict from here is that there very good. It still works great on dry hair even though it says "wet 2 straight" in the product info.
Lots of very positive customer reviews on Amazon, plus we have several pairs of these (too many women in this home) and they are rated a must use daily, well it seems like it from the times I come across them still on!
Does anyone know, in comparison to the Babyliss Pro 230, which is better?

*gf asking the Q....

I have the Remington "S8203" wet to straight wide straighteners and they are brilliant, they heat up to 230 degrees, 30 second heat up and have a digital display. These are half price for £35 from the dreaded Littlewoods at the moment, although I wouldn't dare put that post on here!!!
I can't comment on whether the S8202 are as good as the ones I have but can say that it is a lot less time consuming with wide plates.

I got the babyliss model for mine. I believe it is better. Check this:

These are great straightners i bought mine from Tesco Direct they are only £15 if you have them delvered to the store.
