Cheers for that ukmonkey rep added

no probs, these are good if you need them cos it would cost you a small fortune going to a dealer
and they seem to have most makes...

these prices seem to be very high for non genuine *cases* if it was the transponder then it would be cool, but, erm it isn't. I'd budget about £100 for a replacement key+transponder+programming for most makes. If you want the key case alone then most main dealers are going to cost you about a tenner or less.

Be careful with these.
As Fat-pudding says, these appear to be cases with NO transponder.
Take a look at ALL the images on this page, especially the opened up one.
Nothing inside.

mumbojumbo
The Ford Focus one appears to be a genuine transponder?
Cheaper than paying a dealer a couple of hundred quid - they will only do pairs.

Be really careful, I will admit that I have no knowledge of Ford keys but many GM keys use different frequencies for USA/Australia/Japan and Europe. Most of these keys appear to come without transponder and are just the casings which cost not much from main dealers in the UK, the reason keys are so expensive here is that the main dealer will charge a tenner for the key, fifty for the transponder, 35 for programming and vat on top! If you order a key from DX which comes with the transponder how can you be sure it is compatible with UK frequencies? I'd do your homework before spending any money!

About 10 months ago, I bought some Peugeot keys off flea bay 'cos my ones had knackered buttons on them.
I just transposed the bits I needed from the newer key to my tired old key.
Thay had transponders in them but I didn't need that part.
Might be worth a look.

P.S. Thanks whoever left me feedback.
You never signed it so I have no idea who you are.

I know when I washed my Golf key and the remote locking stopped working, there was a few people on eBay selling the whole thing including details on how to sync it with your car for £35, so check out eBay
