  Hotuk dealers were today responsible for the swift and untimely demise of the republic website as they rushed in their thousands to buy a scarf for a pound. Webmasters were left panicing when they realised they had taken more orders than they had scarfs and the combined outpouring or cancelation emails mixed with an ever increading deluge of hotuk dealers brought the site to its knees.
  
  One witness was quoted as saying "It was carnage. it took me nearly 5 minutes to bring up a webpage. I put my order in for 30 scarfs to resell on ebay but before i could complete the transaction the site crashed and i lost everything"
  
  A republic spokeperson when interviewed about the chaos said "It was like magic. All the crap we didnt dare hope of ever being able to sell was snapped up in seconds thanks to hotukdeals. I'll be getting a lovely bonus tonight."
