Not region free by the looks of it so a good deal if you've a region A player
#2
got a RegionA PS3 but is the US version same or better than the UK release? and does it also comes in the Gasoline can metal case?
#3
Bargain price,

Don't get it when you get "special" cases though, just makes it effort to store and a bit geeky to me

Voted hot
#4
It`s a fifteen year old movie???????? £3 would be a acceptable price

I am amazed enough people have Region Free/Region A players to have given even this much heat to what I would suspect is a very specialist deal.

I bet there are far fewer people in the UK could benefit from this than would have done from the NHS Microsoft offer, yet that caused "outrage" when it was posted!!! :whistling:

I bought this while in new york didnt realise it wasnt region free, It doesnt come with the tin like the uk

Yes and The Dark Knight is very new, so I expect we should be paying about £150 for it?

is this why you voted it cold, then why dont you buy the region A version,

if this is the reason , then everybody will vote cold for all items,

"so people will vote cold for all items on this board , by saying , i dont need this item, so its a cold vote from me), if you dont need it ,just dont vote

COLD

£4 more than I paid in Sainsbury's for a UK (PAL) copy
Locked to US only players
NOT the special edition tin

:whistling:
#12
if region locked really needs to be in title as id guess most dont have US players

If this is your attempt at sarcasm it sorely falls short

Yes - it does fall short. It should have been £159.99.

But if that were done, the deal might stop getting heat from people who vote from the listings page, rather than checking the details. We wouldn't want informed voting now would we?:whistling:

And if £3 was your attempt at realism, it too fell way short. £3 for a blu-ray? Get real.

Besides, can't old films be classics, attain cult status, and be worth the money when viewed? Of course they can.

£3-£4 for a disk burn it yourself. Get the lovefilm free trial, therefore nothing to hinder a cheaper alternative. How real is that for you and others will probably know where to source cheaper disc's:roll:

So you think this is cold on the basis that you presume everyone has a blu-ray writer and making an illegal copy for £3-4 is better value. Forgive me if I don't seem impressed.

A quick scan of tonyd19565's previous posts reveals he paid £13 for old Tom & Jerry cartoons. He contradicts his own argument.

Thanks for making me feel important. Sending me private messages and scanning my previous posts, it`s nice to know someone cares enough to do this.
Yes I did buy tom and Jerry (you see shaiyya, I do care) but ask yourself did I purchase for myself or someone else?
As a point of interest, who stated I had voted cold? I only highlighted it was available fifteen years ago. Admittedly not on blu-ray

if that deal is still available then feel free to vote cold but many people could not get a copy from there saisburys as they did not stock blu ray therefore this is the alternative, as i put in the description.

You feel important when you receive a Private Message on an Internet forum?
#27
well you must think so, in all the time I have been a member of this site, I have never had anyone who keeps sending me private messages unless we were exchanging relevant information. Weird or what!!!! I don`t mind what you post but sending private messages, that is as near stalking as you can get over a computer terminal
