PSN Canada's "Sale of the Dead" is surprisingly disappointing. In many cases it's actually cheaper to stick with the UK's own Halloween sale, though I notice Resident Evil 4 is the same price as 5 and 6 over there i.e. $17.49 i.e. £10.75.

Well, you don't have to use another account. Already have sub accounts setup and so I get access to all my games regardless of region on my main UK account. Trophies and all.

Good ol' Canada. Justin Trudeau hasn't screwed up their gaming prices... yet.

It's actually pretty quick and simple to set up a Canadian account. I did it a while back. Wish I had done it sooner! :)

Valid point and it's definitely easy to do.

But, it's worth taking into account that you'll need a $20 CDN top up to purchase this which is £12.29. You'll then be left with $2.01.

Personally for a 70p saving and $2.01, I'd be slapping this on my UK account at £12.99.

Except you've still got that $2.01 to put towards future purchases ;) I dare say people buying games from Canada are doing so repeatedly. I know I'm often left with a few stray dollars, but it's no biggie in the grand scheme of savings.

It wasn't a negative (I voted hot). I'm just saying in the particular instance, I'd be adding this to my UK account over my Canadian one for the reasons listed above :)

For anyone who already has a Canadian account set up, it's about as much "hassle" as changing the channel on your TV.

And as Marcoos said above, it's not actually much trouble to set up anyway. The perceived "hassle" is a misnomer of people who haven't tried - or don't care to try setting it up.

The reason being that you'd have $2.01 virtual change to put towards another game? ;)

I jest, I jest. Not a massive saving, granted, and Canadian deals can be a hard sell at the best of times (see the UK digital version of The Last of Us getting more heat despite being at a higher price), but hey, if I can save one or two people a couple of quid: job done.

I really want Silent Hill Origins to play on my Vita, but can't switch accounts on a Vita.

Urgh...

This just shows how we in the UK are still being shafted. The £ as weak as it is & we can STILL buy games cheaper in other 1st world currencies!!

Yeah, it's like factory resetting your Vita then setting it up from scratch in a different region. Each game can only be associated with one account (unlike on the PS4), and I believe you have to format your SD card as well. I've heard of some people having two Vitas - one UK and one US/Canada. It's such an annoying little machine X)

If you Henkaku'd your Vita as far as I remember it allows you to use multiple different cards without switching cards. The latest Vita hack

Interesting. I did briefly look into it, but it still seems to be at that nascent, borderline-impenetrable, super-geeky stage. And I'm fairly geeky X)
