Hahaha. Thank you.

Best game on the Wii, second is Twilight Princess. Yep, two Gamecube titles.
#7
Second best game I've ever played (behind GTA San Andreas). £15 is a bargain, it's actually worth buying a Wii just for this - brilliant.

This is a great game and a must have for the Wii!!
#9
Is it a classic version?

Why is it "due to be released"? I thought it's been out for ages, because I've already played it through a few times. Or is it just due for release from Play.com? This is much nicer on the Wii than on the GameCube.

Umbrella Chornicles, also rather good.

it seems there have in a re-release of some wii games on play.com, umbrella chronicles is the same. six months ago you generally couldnt find either of these games anywhere below £29.99 so these prices are great.

Yeah, it seems Capcom's Euro distro is up to something, because same thing's happened with Zack & Wiki. Great news! Now just hurry up and do the same with Okami!

Prefer the controls on the PS2 version, however it still did not stop me from buying the Wii edition for £12.99 from Gamestation online (pre-owned).

Finished RE4 3 times now on PS2, had a little play on the Wii version, but it seems easier with the Wiimote to take out the enemies.

Voted Hot as this is a must own game at a great price for a retail copy.

Try the Gamecube version controls are far better than the PS2 version, either way it's an excellent game.

there is no difference, they are the same game in the same packaging.
Think play.com is just having a delivery of games that are due to be sold at a lower price.

Very interested in buying the Wii version, but after reading Eurogamer's review I'm unsure.

Apparently the Wii controls are very hit and miss - numerous sources claim the Wiimote makes the game easier yet Eurogamer tout them as making it more difficult.

What's the overall opinion from board users?

The game is easy to control with the wiimote. I am 15 hrs into the game and really enjoying it. My xbox360 hasnt been switched on since I bought it. Buy the wii version.

As far as I'm concerned the Wii controls not only made the game (slightly) easier but much, much more involving. I was enjoying the PS2 version but kept running out of ammo in the same place. The Wii version took it to another level. Certainly to call the Wii controls "hit and miss" seems just plain wrong headed - you can aim quicker and more accurately - it's all very intuitive. Don't be put off - this is a brilliant game - you won't regret it.

im writing this on my wii !!!

Ah, a re-release, that'd make sense. Still a great game which plenty of replay value. The Wii version of things is more fun in my opinion since you can aim like in a rail-shooter with the Wii-mote which is always nicer than an analog stick when it comes to shooting. Plus with the Wii version, you can easily download save files if you don't feel like stumbling all the way through for the Chicago Typewriter.

True on every level, the game is excellent on the Wii
