very good price and a very good game! I nearly bought the 2 extra levels yesterday on PSN but that was £8 so thought I would wait and see the price of this, think ill sell my limited edition original RE5 and just buy this!

Heat added for the heads up, anyone know if this will be standard price for this?

I've been waiting for the actual release as well (rather than downloading off PSN). Cdwow have it advertised at £44.49!! So this is a damn good price with quidco.

the instore price will probably be £34.99.

I remember Fallout 3 GOTY was £29.99 online but was £39.99 at game store, so I very much doubt the instore price.

But who knows you may see Asda, Sainsburys or Tesco matching this price instore.

Also gameplay.co.uk has it for the same price as being owned by GAME.

Is the difference from the old one (just) the 3 downloadable maps plus the extra figures and four new costumes?
#10
Might want to add @GAME to the title.

Capcom will release another version (RE5 Platinum?) & make you pay for the game again just for the additional content.
If they do release it as DLC, then it's probably already on the disc now :whistling:

Its four DLC, You get two episodes included which give you roughly around 4 hours new single player gameplay with the new characters like Josh Stone and Jill Valentine.

Also you got the new modes like Versus and Mercenaries mode/reunion added onto it.

Full detail:

In addition to the regular Resident Evil 5 and all its features and Downloadable Content released by now, several other new features will be included, all available as Downloadable Content for the owners of the regular Resident Evil 5. These include:

A Revisited The Mercenaries mode (The Mercenaries Reunion), bringing in new characters and costumes, using the maps of the normal The Mercenaries mode. Each of the 8 original maps are slighlty modified, including new locations for Time Bonuses, Combo Bonuses, new enemies and variants of the enemies.
2 Different Costume Packs
A new Figurine Pack
A new level known as Lost In Nightmares
A new level known as Desperate Escape
New enemies and different variants of old ones.

That was quoted from the reviews, don't shoot me if its only 40 mins.

Who knows, it may take people longer. I finished RES 5 in 15 hours while some completed it around 7-8 hours.

It so bad the new dlc isnt on the pc version :(

Good deal, heat added.

Does anyone know if it's okay to use someone else's reward card?
Long story short I don't care (nor shop at Game often) that much about the points to get a reward card for myself however my brother has one, when trying to register and upon entering his reward card number the registration details change to his name.

Would it be okay to change them back to my details and still use his rewards card to give him the points?

Thanks for reading and thank you in advance to those who take the time to answer my question.

Can't you leave it on his name? (Have it shipped to your address if you don't live with him?)

Thanks Jalaldevil. Sounds pretty good. Wish I hadn't bought the standard one a couple of months ago now, as I've still even play it.

Don't get too excited, it's a very average game IMO.

People'd only pirate it to death like the original version of the game.

Cold. Capcom are a disgrace to the gaming industry. Making us pay for stuff thats on the disc already? Whats funnier is that they cut content from Lost Planet 2 to sell as DLC, but claimed there wasnt enough space for the content. Like anyone would accept that as an excuse *cough* blu-ray *cough*.
