Any new game thats got a price under 30 quid is a bargain in my eyes. I remember Call of Duty in ASDA for 27...what a deal!

this wont be the instore price.

They normally list a cheaper price for the pre-orders.

This will prob be £40 when its actually released.

Saying that though, you can reserve and collect at Argos can't you?

It says on the site - Cannot be reserved for store pick-up

I honestly can't see myself buying this after playing through the terrible demo. Despite having played nearly every other game in the series, I think this will be a bit of a stinker (or at least a let down). Maybe when it comes down to £15?
#13
anyone know if its gonna come out on ps2?

Thought it was a ps3 exclusive?
#17
Where did you download the demo from?
I've never seen it on the Playstation store.
#18
Last I heard it was taken off the store because there were reports of it crashing, though I think you can still get it from the U.S store!
#19
This maybe a stupid question but here goes anyway, how do you access the US store via the ps3?

It's showing £33.91on Asda's website for PS3 & 360. Might come down between now and release.

On Argos' site, the option to reserve for store pick up is greyed out as there aren't any in store. It should be available for store pick up on release day.

My thoughts exactly. The demo was appalling, with the terrible controls being the worst thing of all.
#27
What about people like me who already preordered it a few weeks back at £34.29 ?!?!?

I would suggest you cancel your preorder, and order again. They won't have taken payment yet will they?

Amzon is the same price as well - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Capcom-Resident-Evil-5-PS3/dp/B000E6DYXU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1235302793&sr=8-2

Normally yes, the only trouble is i used one of the online £10 gift voucher codes when i placed the order (they expired a few weeks ago). So unfortunately that isnt an option. Ive phoned Argos and unfortunately they werent too helpfull. Oh and BTW they cannot say when it will be delivered, only that someone will phone by the 28th March to arrange delivery - which is the date when they said it would be delivered when i placed my order weeks ago. :x

Yeah i saw that a few places such as Amazon were selling it for £29.99. Which is obivously why Argos has dropped the price.

EDIT: PS If anybody with a 1080p TV suffered with terrible screen tearing when playing the demo on the 360, then set the 360 display to 1080i to completely eliminate the issue.

Same controls as the fourth, is it not?

love this game... tooooo scary to play alone on a big tv and loud audio lol... i really do not recommend buying this game for kids under 16... over 16 its a must have :P

Hot! Not racist

I played the demo, I agree to an extent about controls but the graphics are simply stunning.
