If ordering resi evil might as well purchase the 3D version as contains the 2D version plus you have a 3D copy if you decide to upgrade to a 3D tv and blu ray so bit of an extra incentive. Shame inception isn't in the offer

I dont need a 3d tv and 3d blu-ray player to watch in 3d? well that would be proper 3d, will still look great on my samsung 37" yh?
#4
Resident Evil Afterlife and Social Network stand out, as they are both pre-orders that would easily cost £30+ elsewhere but I'm going to hold off for the moment. Spent way too much this month lol

I had a look at a 3D TV in Currys yesterday...I think it was Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D. What a load of rubbish!!
Unlike at the cinema where (if watching Beowulf) you get stabbed in the face by a spear, or are positively smothered by Jolie as she rises out the water.....this 3D actually goes INTO the TV...not out. I guess it was the only way to make 3D work on a TV, but is it really worth all the extra expense??
At least if you have a PS3 you get a free upgrade so the player can take 3D discs but still....is it worth it?
#9
Machete is in the offer as well, amazing. I was going to pay £20 to import it from America but I'll just wait and get another blu-ray with it.

Yes, at least I think so. £806 on amazon today for a 50 inch Samsung Plasma with free 3D blu ray player. Great price for a well reviewed telly, and plasma is the preferred type of set for blu ray. As for stuff coming out the screen at you, I've experienced that kind of depth of field on the rubbish red and blue anaglyph 3D (very minor mind you) I'm sure the "proper" 3D will give me no trouble.
#11
That's exactly the set it was. It's probably just me, but I just don't see the point in it.

I have heard a rumour though that somewhere in Japan a new 3D set has been developed where you don't need to wear the annoying specs!! Now that, might be worth waiting for! :)

Toshiba have made them but on 10" or so sets!

It seems otherwise, as when you click on ResEvil3D it does say out of stock so I'm wondering if they have a specific amount of each title lined up for the deal. So could technically be out of stock?

Technically it may mean "not in stock" but maybe they do not have a status for that.

Perhaps you could contact the merchant & ask them.

My only concern is they're listing an Easy A Blu Ray. Nobody else in the uk is selling anything other than a DVD.

Having said that, huge seller rating on Amazon and I bought Epic Mickey from them no issues

I'm glad you mentioned your concern; I was hoping that my reservations about the Blu-ray Disc covers for "Death Race" & "Universal Solider" not being the UK editions was just me being overly cautious (&/or a lack of attention regarding the poorly listed product images).

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at. If you go on other Pre-Orders such as Machete you can order them, and it has no mention of not in stock, out of stock or whatever. But Resident Evil 3D DOES say out of stock, and my assumption was that the website put a limit onto how many pre-orders for Resident Evil 3D...

Resi Evil 3D is ''back in stock''

just ordered cheers op :D

Got an email from them asking for proof of address, either a bank statement or utility bill. Anyone else had this?
#31
Has anyone received any of their orders yet? Mine are still listed as 'pending'?
#32
I emailed them today to find out why my copy of Salt hadn't been dispatched... Apparently they don't dispatch ANY of the products in an order until they have have all been released. Despite charging instantly!

What is most annoying for me is that Salt is in the same order as Machete which isn't out till March. Meaning I wont get Salt till then! More annoying still is that there is no way to cancel the order to switch round the orders so that Salt is in the same order as one of the earliest releases (Social Network)

If the item(s) have not been despatched just ring them up & request that your order is (part, or fully) cancelled & your payment refunded.

Why would they refuse?

PS. I ordered two Blu-ray Discs (one being "Resident Evil Afterlife 3D", the other being "Salt") & a USB memory stick.

The memory stick has already been despatched.

Not impressed by this company at all. I had my doubts that Easy A was actually going to be released on Blu-Ray because of it's absence on sites such as Amazon and Play and I received this email from them today:

"Please accept our sincere apologies, we have been informed that this title will not be released on Blu Ray in the foreseeable future.

As this title was purchased as part of promotion we will now cancel the whole order and refund any monies paid.

Please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience or confusion this issue may have caused.

Kind Regards

It's lucky I had a hunch that this would happen + had used the email system on the website otherwise I'd be completely confused as to what was going on. I also emailed them about when the products would be dispatched as I mentioned in my last post. They claimed they HADN'T taken money out of my account, which is a lie, as I as well as someone else on here had both had their money taken out instantly.

Disappointing customer service and have canceled my orders... just don't seem them as very trustworthy :S

This company are terrible. After asking me to provide a bank statement/utility bill they have gone completely silent on me, and the money that was due to be taken by them hasn't been now. Guessing they're not going to fulfill my order, but it's still set as "pending" on their site.
Will be avoiding them from now on.
