i started playing Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 a few months back, got stuck waiting for a lift, couldn't work out how to kill this "thing" that kept attacking me! Bloody annoying, never played it since, in fact i'm getting narked just thinking about it now, grrr.

You tip the Nito canisters over when creature is near it freezes it, then shoot it with most powerfull weapons you have, do this about 4 times and you should be able to kill it.

For anyone who doesn't know, this game's not the same as the previous Res Evil games and is an 'on rails' shooter - a bit like House of the Dead in the arcades (and on the Wii now) - it's for 1 or 2 players and is supposed to be good fun if not the best Resident Evil game ever. Worth a punt at this price just for the fact that shooting zombies in Res Evil 4 on the Wii was awesome fun.

Thanks, i think my problem was that the weapons i had weren't powerful enough, i might give it another shot though.

Pun intended?

No, but from what I hear using the gun adapter for the Wii makes playing the game harder as you have to shake the nunchuck to reload.

This is a different trype of game completely, set over Resident Evil 0, 1 & 3, also this is a 3D shooter similar to House Of The Dead, watch the video to see.

My local Comet only has about 6 games in it's entire range (PS3, 360, Wii, PS2), lol. :-D

I don't want to hijack the thread, but what's the best FPS on the Wii? Resident Evil 4? Also, my all-time favourite game is Sniper Elite on the PC - anything available like this for the Wii, or which games have a sniper element in them? Thanks.
#16
RE4 does have a sniper element but only when you use weapons with scopes... generally I don't think you could call it a FPS game at all.

Suprisingly good game this one. Bit boring on your own, but great craic with a mate :)
