In Resistance: Fall of Man, the U.S. and Britain band together in a last-ditch effort to save Europe and Asia from a horrific scourge. In mere decades, the Chimera a species of unknown origin propagating a virus that converts other life forms into more Chimera has overrun Russia and all of Europe. Humanitys hope for survival is slim, and the tide of the battle rests on the shoulders of U.S. Army Ranger, Sgt. Nathan Hale.

Pretty tough to get an MP game going on RFoM now but worth the punt for the story. Alot of people overlooked this if they got the PS3 after launch but it provided the best lag-free MP for at-least a year or two ;)

Love this game. The atmosphere, the weapons (& the fact I can carry more than 2) ... just everything.
Still play it today.

I'm still trying to complete this so I can get onto Resistance 2.

Still a great game. Never really liked the multiplayter element of this, even when there was still people playing it online. Probably worth mentioning you can get all the DLC for this FREE now on PSN. The very first PS3 title I played and owned, so I'ill always have a soft spot for it :-D

Never played this, but heard enough good things about it and for £3.99 you just can't go wrong. Preowned games from Game.co.uk usually come like new, so ordered from me!

I'll take a punt for £3.99, cheers.

me too, tried Quidco so will see if that works too :p

Online used to be amazing on this

Good game. Story and atmosphere get better as you go (first level is very generic though).

lol, same thing here mate. I stuck with my PS2 for aaaaages. This was the first game that made me really want a PS3, a few more titles stacked up that I wanted before I got one though

Plus in this game you need to look for health packs, not just duck down for a few seconds whilst that severed artery fixes itself....a much better & more nerve racking way of doing things.

I think there is a demo on the PSN too if you want a taste first.

There is a demo on PSN. One word of caution though, I think the difficulty setting of it is quite high because I remember downloading before I purchased the game and getting totally creamed. For some reason I still purchased the game although I did originally play it on easy (I'm now playing it on Superhuman).

Money well spent mate, providing it's NOT the platinum version! :p

Oh, I forgot, you have a nice little collection of platinum titles developing at the end of your games shelf! lol

Sorry, couldn't resist mate :-D:thumbsup:

I thought this game was ok. It was very linear though. That really spoiled it for me.

No offence taken :). To be honest I don't have anything as formal as a games shelf, the games just seem to accumulate under the TV stand. I can't tell which are Platinum and which are original unless I make a point of looking closely.
