Been looking for a good mattress for a while and always been attracted to the Rest assured range.
I know there are cheaper mattresses out there but you get what you pay for, have a read about pocket sprung, as most of the cheaper models are open coil mattresses.
This particular mattress has 1400 individual pocket springs, total luxury.

Have a look on dreams and other bed websites and you will see these well over £1000 RRP going for around £700 in the sales..

Read about them on the rest assured website, this particular model is covered with a layer of memory foam on top of 1400 pocket springs.

Argos also selling latex pocket mattress which are also very nice, anything over 1000 pockets and your in the luxury bracket.

Not voting on this one. It is a good deal by 'printed prices'.

I got a mattress of exactly the same specifications made by Silentnight for around £200 (superking) though. That was just by looking completely horrified at the salesman who reeled off crazy prices. Suddenly an end of line design appeared - last one in stock etc etc So try an independent supplier and you could be pleasantly surprised

Why the cold votes?????? Find one with same spec cheaper and then vote cold.

Same mattress £599 here

I have listed a few indys and they are far more expensive, Silentnight do not use Pocket Sprung they use a similar system called miracoil, however if you speak to any good bed retailer they will tell you that pocket sprung is the dogs bits.
Silentnight still a nice mattress though and owners of rest assured

silentnight dont do pocket sprung!
miracoil is basically a bonnel spring.

Its a pity, I could list a £100 mattress on here reduced from £200 and it would probably get very hot, after 2 years you will have the springs coming through, you will be rolling into your partner and will ache and not get a correct nights sleep.

But who would care it's a bargain at £100.

Sorry I like to pay the extra and get quality, there are obviously people on here that think differently, remember you spend a third of your life in bed.

Absolutely. I was prepared to pay more but not the prices advertised for the good mattresses. i figure 1/3 of my life in bed it was worth investing - hence the Superking bed :-)

Apparently I'm wrong about brand. Hubby says it's not Silentnight. It is 1400 pocketsprung and memory foam top though. Very comfy indeed. If only my children let me spend more time in it!
