EE Retainers are price matching the 3 value deal offering 4GB of data, unlimited minutes and texts for 8.99£ per month on a 12 month contract.

Just call 150, navigate through the menu to request your pak code, and they will offer it to you.

I would assume that offer will expire tomorrow when 3's offer expires, so if your contract is about to expire, call them.

I've been paying £8.99 (after cashback from mobilephonesdirect) for same plan though signal sucks and i'm on my way out next month.

Three still have Quidco I think so works out cheaper if it goes through? 12 x 8 - 108 = ~£4.8/mo

Great deal, don't care whether its been posted or not because I didn't see it. Just rang EE retentions as my contract's up. Unlimited calls and texts plus 4gb 4g data for £8.99 a month. Very happy.

Shame they didn't offer this a couple of weeks ago. Told me they couldn't get close, so went with 3. In fairness 3 have been good so far though.

Is this open to t-mobile customers too??

Actually they did but you had to really barter with them. I assumed it was a special case when I did it, because I was offered more data that I did not need and had to reject three other offers before the line manager of the guy agreed to it.

Today though I had two colleagues of mine and my GF got it right on, the moment they requested the pak, which implies I was not the only one nagging them in the past week and they made it a universal offer.

Note that if you contact ends in end of October, you can still ring and request the pak, since there is a 30 days notice period, and they will immediately move your contact to the new one. So if you are paying 35£ for a device you had, and have one month left you will also save that money of the last month.

Yes, it is for T-Mobile too, I just rang up and got it no bother, no bartering, I just asked if it was available and he swapped me over in about 30 secs. Thanks OP, great deal. Think it is poor when people vote cold just because it is retention and they can't get it. Not everybody can get everything, just sour grapes because they are overpaying for their phones. Lots of good deals are not available to me as I don't live anywhere near any of the big discount stores but I don't down vote all those deals.

Did you get it by going through the process to get your PAK code?

I rang 150, chose the option for mobile renewals and paks. I said that I was out of contract, think I'm paying to much and I'd heard about this deal. Said I'd like it if available. The guy knew exactly what I wanted and processed it very quickly. I suspect he had been doing a lot of these today.

same for me too, their best offer was £12 for 2GB 2 weeks ago, so I went with 3, never been with 3 and actually not bad :)

#14

#15

I would ring and check as EE customer service are as good as BT'S from my experience of them sorting anything correctly first time

I have noticed the same, but I thought it was the bill up to the date that I switched to the new plan. It could be also a bug that the code they use to describe this contract in the API is pointing out to a different contract, considering that it is not a publicly accessible plan.

Spoke to EE, they have to apply it as a loyalty discount, so it will show as £21.99 but only charged @ £8.99

Just called as have three phones out of contract and they retainer centre said they don't know what I am talking about and can only offer me £15.99 with unlimited mins unlimited text and 2gb of data. Not interested at all and pretended he didn't know what hotukdeals was! Any advice?

#23
Just phoned EE. I was currently paying them £13 p.m. For same deal. They price matched no problem. Thanks
#24
Just rang EE and got the same deal....didn't even have to haggle and still got over a month left on current contract

#26
how is the reception on the ee sim... £9 one
#27
This worked a treat. I called EE and mentioned the Three deal to see if they would price-match and without any haggle, the terms of the contract were read out to me and the deal applied. £8.99 for unlimited minutes, texts and 4GB of data.

Thank you to all the posters in this thread.

I tried yesterday to get this as a new customer and had no luck. Any tips or similar deals on EE?
#29
Im going to give them a try today but need more than 4gb, Have two lines with EE but don't want anything less than 6gb-8gb
#30
Just rang EE and asked for PAC code, He asked why, told him 3 had offered me this deal and he matched it immediately. Thanks OP
#31
Managed to get this deal when I rang up today. Thanks OP
#32
Thanks OP. Got this today for my dad. Apparently the ee customer services are not allowed to offer this tariff unless you specifically say you saw the three deal (which is still active), only then are they allowed to offer this price match equivalent.

Thanks for your help!
#33
Just got this myself - told them the plan I wanted to match and they did it without question.

Very happy - Thanks OP :)
#34
I recently left EE as they wouldn't offer me a decent deal. I went to three but the signal indoors is shocking and I've cancelled. What's the chances of EE giving me this deal if I call?
#35
After a year, does this auto increase to 21.99?
#36
Well they only matched 3 deal. Asked about more than 4gb and price shot up to £18-20. Got my PAC codes for both lines going to give Vodafone a try with 20gb etc etc for £13 with my discount
