Sorry this deal is not for everyone, just existing customers due an upgrade on thier 1100 mix & match package. I have just managed to get this deal for £12, yes it was £13.75 in my last posting (link below). However I had told a friend about this deal, he upgraded today whilst I was sat with him, they offered it to him at £12.00 pm. I snatched the phone of him and asked why I was not also offered it at £12.00, but because I was within my 14 day cooling off period, they also gave it to me for £12. He also told me that he could see a note on the system that the person who had sold me the deal at £13.75 was going to call me today to inform me this deal is no longer available at £13.75 and was going to be increased to £15. However he told me that is inaccurate and it would not happen as he has made special notes on the account. He said he was in a special department that I had managed to slip through to whilst on hold for the upgrade team. (they have super powers) but he didnt give me a direct number. There appears to be competition amongst the 3 staff, maybe they have incentives. Anyway good luck to those that can

lol....oh fatherjacob! No in fact I was hurt when I learned that it was going to cost me £1.75 more each month, but my wounds were quickly healed when they gave me the £12 deal. It must be a miracle!

Funny how the customers that were we 3 during the hard times get over looked ,when those who they attracted with a deal get petted.

you need to know how to talk the talk!
i got the same deal but at £13 a month which i am very happy with.
however i did manage to get 2gb data allowance so will be excellent with the iphone.

I've just gone ahead to upgrade myself.
I asked for a PAC code, and they took me seriously.
After arguing for nearly 30 mins, I got a deal of 18 months, with a Nokia E5, few thousand any network minutes, few thousand text messages, unlimited internet - all for £10 a month.
I couldn't refuse!

Heard a lot of bad things about 3. Furthermore why bother saying 5000 texts, should just make it unlimited.

Left 3 having been with them for about 6 years. Was called a liar by some tool on their 'retention team' when I said Giffgaff was unlimited internet. Then got called a liar by his two supervisors. Glad to be rid of them. Good deals for what you pay but complete and utter rubbish as far as customer service goes.

Will give it a bash again tomorrow for the last time ,im fairly persistent and polite ..and my phone/bargaining skills are pretty good ) This will be the final time though , im not begging for the deal.
when i asked the supervisor for the PAC code the guy didnt put up a fight..
He said that they couldn't afford to do the deal for everyone ..i replied isn't it better to get a little something rather than nothing at all?
He still wouldn't budge :S

Hey dude, you cant be polite with these guys, they dont understand polite, you have to be ruthless. if you don't get what you need just tell them you're not interested and you will call again in the future when a better deal reappears. Toopai, the £10 deal is gr8 as you managed to get a phone too. Shayne, i know what you mean about custimer service, but hey, look I only have to deal with them once every 12/18 or 24 months when my contract ends and then the bargaining starts all over again, during the contract period, i have no need to contact them and just enjoy my deal

I finally managed to get a deal with them after being made fun of several times during past calls. I retained my 500 mins 100 tx for £5 but received 2gb internet for free as well as the SE Cedar. Had to increase contract term from 12 to 18mths though but I don't mind.

3 are a beast to deal with and I never want to have to go through the experience again. I must have called them well over 10 times several times of which I was accused of lying when I said I had been previously offered a deal which I now wanted to accept!

I had got the 1100 Mix and match 6500 slide on this site from way back and when I renewed my contract last december 2009 which carried over the £10 discount plus an extra £3 off I thought it was good. I was paying £17 for MM1100, well I read this post and since I needed a micro sim since I've just bought an iphone 4 PAYG I thought i'd ring to ask about that and when my contract ends. Well to my surprise the CS rep said you've got 5 months left but I can offer you the One plan for £10, obviously I said I was interested but had heard of some people being offered it for £8. She told me it depends on your current level of discount on your plan and that I was actually the cheapest she had been able to offer it to anyone, prior to me she said the cheapest she had offered anyone was £13 and that she was surprised herself that the computer offered it for £10.

So I guess it depends on what you've been offered in the past on renewal. I've been with 3 for a while now, 18mths and £20 for MM1100 and then 13mths at £17 for MM1100.

I do also have to say that 3 do get alot of people complaining about them, but I imagine its the same with any network. Your always going to have some people who have issues and others that dont. I could'nt careless about indian call centres or anything, for me 3 have been excellent, I've only ever had to call there CS dept twice in 3 years regarding receptions issues and on both occassions it was due to mast upgrades which meant I was without a service for a few hours on them two times for which they give me £10 on both days for the inconvienence. I've alway had great retentions deals too. Cant say fairer than that really. £10 for One plan on flexible traffic. Well thats my next 12mths phone stuff sorted.
Thanks to the OP for putting this up - Heat added and it's saved me abit of money too.
