  This is a very new airport so you can easily find many cheap flights there. About month or two ago RyanAir had (one way) tickets to Modlin for 20p (1 PLN). 8)

  I've had more expensive taxi's in Dublin than this. Would be great if someone like Ryanair organised a night out in Poland, where you start the pub crawl in the London airport at 2pm, continue to Poland - drinking, of course.. and finally end up back in your own bed at about 4am the next morning. £20. Sold.

  By the time you pay for card fees, baggage fees, Stanstead express, taxi or whatever to Stanstead (calling this LONDON Stanstead is a joke!) is it even worth it?
  I avoid Ryanair unless I have absolutely no alternative (which is very very rare)

  What baggage fees? Take hand luggage and there are no fees.
  
  A coach costs £5 e/w.
  
  Next, you'll be telling me to add on the cost of a ho(s)tel, food and attractions.
