Get a tent, blow-up boat and sleep on the beach claiming you were washed off course on route to Spain.

Gran canaria is ok if you like holidaying with cockroaches, and I don't mean your partners hehe.

Cheap flights from Bristol and Bournemouth school half term But no accommodation.

I found cheap flights at Christmas but didn't go as the accommodation was very expensive and minimal choice. I'm now going in the summer where the flight prices are more but the accommodation prices less, and more choice. The tent idea could work though :D

Hi yes Airbnb seem to be quite costly these days, homeaway had a better choice for the canaries and the fees are less

Great deal but either way you will end up paying usual £200ish pp/wk

Exactly. If you don't like cockroaches then don't go ANYWHERE warm.

Must admit I saw them everywhere when I went once to Tenerife one year, but have been there 3 other times and only seen a couple each other time.

I guess they are hiding in all hot countries anyway, but I think it was the time of year and place I was staying when I did see then everywhere was prob not the best area as was on an 18-30 holiday (God what was a few years ago :D ).

what tax???? it's Ryanair. It's a full price.
I bought flight from Edinburgh 3 months ago. Paid 100£ return. Wish I have waited with purchase as they're much cheaper now.

Been twice, both times I had them in my room, and one flew right into my head when I was outside. I'm not trying to scare anyone, just making people aware.

Been to Vegas 3 times, New York in September, Spain, South of France.... warm enough ? Never seen cockroaches anywhere else but Gran Canaria.

Did you mean to shout anywhere ? Made you look a bit loopy.

Yeah they're exclusive to Gran Canaria.... https://www.targetmap.com/viewer.aspx?reportId=41206

Canary islands is one of few places in a world, where the weather is relatively similar all year long.
Cannot say same thing about places you mentioned.

Again, there is always a possibility you will see few while you are on holiday, but your comment was closer to "They are everywhere" =)
