;-) actually my missus is rocking the other year she got me a giant optimus prime for valentines! rocking ;-)

I think your man will be annoyed at you wasting £76.90 of his hard-earned cash on this...:whistling:

Hey looks pretty good to me - but can you check the dimensions for me?

I'll be taking my Pioneer 50" Kuro and PS3 in with me so as long as that fits I'll be sorted!

See, I blame wirless technology. 10 years ago you wouldn't have had all this backchat as the modem lead wouldn't stretch to the kitchen. Ladies, you should leave the technology to your husband or that sunday roast won't be ready for when he gets in from the pub this afternoon.

Been looking for one of these ... :whistling:

(There is a joke that goes some thing like - why do women have smaller feet that me ...

But I won't go any further :) )

The only problem is that she will not be able to have it setup and ready for him.

"The A-Frame Dog Kennel comes flat packed; quick and easy to assemble, requiring only a screwdriver."

That rules women out. :whistling:

Because he doesn't have to explain himself to his wife, obviously.

On the contrary. When a man says that, he means he's going down the pub for a beer (bought by himself). Little did he know, that all his mates are at the pub, and that 1 beer turns into a round for his friends, then all his friends buy him a beer. So, essentially; it is totally out of his control. He feels guilty, but it would be rude to his friends to decline their offer.

Lets do some maths from our (the guys) point of view:

ironing board -24.99
woman refuses to accept ironing board, so return it +24.99
receive dog house as gift +0.00
sell to somebody who needs one at half price +38.45
woman in bad mood so refuses to go out for valentines meal +50.00

Total profit £88.45

Now if that isn't a HUKD i don't know what is.

Maybe a cardboard box would suffice. We can throw in a few bin liners to wrap around it, in case it rains/snows.....don't want the box getting soggy.

Please, somebody tell me, why is it ok for a woman to buy a man a power tool for Xmas/birthday/Valentine's etc but it's not ok to buy a woman an iron/washing machine/tumble drier or something?

Seriously, I want to know.

I received a nice shiny new Kenwood Chef for Xmas from my wife by the way and I absolutely adore it :-)

Seems like a good place to go and get some peace, from the wife are these dog cabins fitted with heaters, its a little cold this time of year?
#39
Now, the best place to go for some peace and quiet for me is my workshop at the end of the garden. It's 14 foot long by 8 foot across. I have a computer (linked to my broadband of course), a tv, two sky boxes, loads of motorcycle and Land Rover magazines (waiting to be read) and best of all gallons upon gallons of home brew :) I'm a happy little bunny.

Because if you leave it to the men, or mine at least, he will go though tons of sets of cheap tools that never get the job done properly and never think he should dip his hand in his pocket and buy the better quality/more expensive(in most cases) tools. So it almost feels like a luxury to him :p and he actually loves it and feels like you really love him fo getting him something he wouldn't have bought himself- :whistling:ps. for the ladies: and then ultimately we win because those little jobs finally get done because he wants to test out his new toys, sorry power tools;-)
