Revo iBlik WiFi internet radio with iPod docking. Listen to over 17,000 internet radio stations. These work on the Reciva network and Revo's customer service is U.K based and second to none imho. This is a cracking price for an internet radio. If you can find an internet radio for cheaper, with more functionality please post it as I've been looking for one for ages. For anyone without a Ipod (like me) this has the M-Port on it so you can link up your MP3 player and use it as a speaker.

Here's a decent pic: http://www.revo.co.uk/digital-radio/revo-iblik-wifi.php

Refurbished ones are going for £68.50 delivered on amazon!

iBLIK Wi-Fi leads a new generation of contemporary, design-led radios that meet the diverse and demanding requirements of the new digital world. iBLIK Wi-Fi is capable of accessing thousands of internet radio stations from all over the world, providing an unprecedented choice of radio content. Awesome price, not seen this under £100 so far. Works with iPhone as well, although you will get a message telling you it's not designed for iPhone when you connect it up

Cheers I've been looking for one for a while I was watching one on ebay last night which went for £60 but that was second hand and without the Ipod dock.

These have been posted before on hotdeals but they were incorrectly posted and it was the dab blik and not the iblik. This is the genuine Iblik with Ipod dock.

Beware that these Revos do not support real media streams.

If you have an iPod Touch/iPhone, it's easier & cheaper to just download a freebie internet radio app and use that  Especially if you already own any form of dock speaker system

Hot deal though & heat added.

I don't think that the sound can be that good as it's a mono speaker, I'm sure this guy is working for Revo and even he doesn't rate it that highly (he says plug it in to speakers)

Can't believe it's just expired on zavvi and thehut.com almost simultaneously.

Can you recommend any good ones that do? I have an old(ish) relative that isn't too smart with technology and a device like this might be a better idea than spending a similar amount on a netbook. The netbook would do the job in being able to play the RM stream and I could get together (or find) a simplified interface that would, in a few clicks, get the stream running but that's still more effort and time than an actual internet radio. The ability to play RM streams is a must and a google search on "real media" internet radio player hasn't proved particularly useful :)

Worth noting that you can buy refurb radios direct from Revo on ebay for about half the RRP. Don't think HUKD likes ebay links, but search for "revo_outlet_store".

I got mine from them a couple of years ago and I couldn't tell it apart from new; had no problems with it. A friend did the same but his remote didn't work so they just shipped out a brand new one for free.

Also, I can confirm the sound quality isn't mind-blowing, but for a bedside radio it's perfectly reasonable.

revo_outlet_store is one of my saved sellers on ebay :)

They say "Refurbished units are ex-demonstration, ex-display or mail-order returns. We then test them, package them and sell them at a significant discount on the normal selling price. These products are normally in good-excellent condition. Direct from the Manufacturer. Factory Refurbished."

Media Player
iBLIK Wi-Fi also offers full media player functionality, enabling the user to listen to audio tracks stored on PCs or Apple Macs connected to the same local Wi-Fi or LAN network.

Zavvi & The Hut are essentially the same company which is why you'll often see the same deals on both.

Thanks for that, that is useful to know for the future

Absolutely fine through a pair of proper speakers.

Obviously the inbuilt unit is junk, but that's to be expected.

I bought the non-internet version of this at Christmas, I find the DAB signal to be appalling and the sound/speaker quality is sh1te. I also bought a Yamaha DAB unit from Richer Sounds, and that is superb, a TSX-120 I think. It comes highly recommended.

Both work with iphone 3Gs but the Revo does get interference.....
