i believe these look better so I'm going to order these:
http://www.selectspecs.com/Glasses/Hush/Red-Fox-921/ss101.16.html

the great thing i found out is that you could send them your old glasses and they would check the measurements for you:)

Superb deal. Been thinking about a pair of prescription sunglasses and just had my eyes tested last week so I will be getting a pair.

Good find - I've ordered a pair.

They have cheap frames but I have never done an online glasses purchase but thought about it.

How do you know what they look like on and also how do they do varifocal glasses because they can't measure your eyes? They don't give refunds for varifocal lenses once they are ordered. Something to take into consideration when ordering from them.

I saw another web site where you could insert your own photograph and put the frame as an overlay, so you can see what they look like on you. Unfortunately, I am not able to find it now and I din't bookmark it.

Good price (so heat added), but mixed reviews on the site (ciao). I use GlassesDirect, which give 18% quidco and regularly have good sales and other weekly offers, and to date I've been unable to find any bad feedback for them. I'm well pleased with them!

Due to my bad vision (charged me £35 just for the lens), so altogether my glasses costed me around £60, but still nearly half the price of my current pair

I've ordered varifocals from www.Spex4less.com. They have 100% guarantee and sort out the measurements by sending you the frame with a measuring sticker on it. You have your pic taken wering the specs and send it back to them with the frame. It worked very well for me!

Glasses Direct offer a varifocals service where an optician visits you at home or work to take the necessary measurements. I'm going through the process now and placed my order just after Christmas, so you need to patient for the appointment. With Quidco and a pre 2009 discount offer a pair of fully coated (UV, anti-reflect, scratch-resist) designer varifocal glasses came in under £100.

Forgot to mention, I've used Spex4Less before and their customer service was excellent. The only reason I'm trying Glasses Direct is that they were cheaper for designer frames, which this time I wanted.

I purchased some prescription sunglasses from SelectSpecs about 6 months ago, and was very pleased with them. Delivered from Hong Kong.

Heat Added, Fantastic site, Thanks
We are very intrested in the re-lenseing old frames that this site does, my other half has a designer frame which he loves but Vision Express cant re-lense it as they no longer have the template as the frame is about 3 years old now.
Thanks

As long as it's not a rimless pair with both lenses cracked, practically any optician can reglaze (re-lens) a pair of specs.
They'll just use the current lenses as a template.

Sounds like VE are trying to encourage you to get a new pair of specs.

Thanks, will look into that, no there not rimless, unfortunatly he did buy another pair so they did a good job of coning us then, but he still prefers his old pair.
