This delightful set is perfect for any cheese lover. The tempered glass board serves a dual purpose by providing an excellent slicing surface, and when chilled, keeping your cheese cool when serving. Included within this set are two speciality cheese knives, each manufactured using the traditional full tang 3 rivet construction. This type of construction gives the knife added strength and durability, meaning that it can be used on even the hardest of cheese. The handles are ergonomically designed making them more comfortable to use.
Beautifully packaged within a distinctive branded gift box, this set would make an ideal present for the cheese lover in your life. Love Cheese? Why not treat yourself?
The knives within this set are dishwasher safe, although we do advise that they are taken out once the cycle is finished and hand dried to keep the knives in prime condition. As the board features wooden handles, it is not dishwasher safe; to clean simply hand wash in mild soapy water and hand dry. Although we do not envisage you having any problems with your Entertain cheese knife set, it is backed by a 15 year Richardson Sheffield guarantee, giving you complete confidence with your purchase

Steel in harder than cheese shocker :w00t:

Voted cold because I don't want one. Normally wouldn't vote either way but as its the "deal of the day" on the advent I feel there should at least be some attempt at an item which people don't already own. I have a cheeseboard. I have knives. I have cheese. Cold

How are you supposed to win with HUKDeals new competition?
Is it if you are lucky you get a voucher rather than go to the deals page?
#10

How do you know that. If it is true it is a pain for those of us not likely to sign in on Christmas day.

It states it cLEARLY on the actual advent calendar page!

Will people start putting their brains in and reading the page! GAH!

How it works
Each day you'll have the opportunity to collect something from the Hotukdeals Grotto...

Will you be lucky enough to win a gift? Or do you deserve a lump of coal?!

We all know that good girls and boys don't peek at their presents until Christmas day...

so on Christmas Day you'll be able to open all of the gifts you've collected.

We've thousands and thousands of £2.50 Zavvi vouchers to be won, so keep your fingers crossed, be good little dealhunters and maybe Santa will bring you something nice....

Have a Hot Christmas!

Who cares what you want and don't want? That's not the point of this site.

Why don't people click the link, rather than keep asking what the saving is?

RRP:£49.99 Price:£12.00
You Save:£37.99 (76%)

who cares what the RRP is... Just a false figure to tempt people who can't see past it. Just like all these coats keep getting posted from play.com. atticus coat RRP £75 but you can have it for £25, the coat will never be £75.

I suppose we could look at every deal in this way. What does 'deal' actually mean? I am missing something??

You sholud look at every deal this way. Just because some manufactures put stupid RRP on their goods, doesn't make it a good deal when they say save ???%. Look at the price you are paying to see if its a good price.

I agree, most video games have an RRP of £49.99 although anyone that would actually pay that is crazy... If someone posted a deal on a game that was £39.99 (a 20% saving on RRP) it would get slated because the RRP means nothing...

I would say the one in the OP is better because the knives are dishwasher safe, and also, it wont take up surface space when not being used...

Thanks for the response,
yes the board does look nicer in the OP 3 piece compared to the 4 piece

I don;t have a dishwasher though...

who gives edam about the RRP anyway?

The answer to this should be "no one". But it isn't. Too many people here can't see past the difference in the purchase price and the fabricated RRP. A bad price is still a bad price, regardless of what fraction of an even worse price it is.
#38
aldi have got abetter offer lol

Richardson Sheffield knives are poor quality my knife broke after just three years light use, 25 year guarantee and they have welched out of it and won't replace
my knife. Very poor service. I wouldn't bother buying that brand again

Crap deal.

How this has got so hot I do not know.

1 of the first times i've ever taken the time to say a deal is ****....so it must be :)
