For you DE shavers out there. These dropped to £7.99 over a year ago and haven't been that cheap since. Ok, this is 1p more...but hey. Excellent blades for an excellent price.

Blade (and razor) choice is VERY personal, what works for one person wont work for another... so you really should get a "tester" pack of blades and experiment !

As for blade disposal, a tin money box from the pound shop works a treat !
That chaps selling these have added an extra 50p.

I find a Merkur 34c HD used with Derby blades and Proraso shaving cream gives me the best shave; personally the Astra blades don't suit my skin, but as others have said, it's best to try a variety pack first, then decide which brand to stick with.

I bought these blades a week ago after reading glowing reviews about them, however i find the derby blades give me a much better and closer shave, but prob just my skin/growth type. (The funny thing was the same positive reviewers for astra slated the derby blades).

I would suggest anyone to get a sample of blade before they buy a bulk load or risk ending up with a lot of unsuitable blades like me. Just a suggestion!
I actually find the more hirsuit woman rather attractive; however, in this case, a Stihl strimmer and a couple of gallons of Veet may prepare the skin for a close shave and moisturisring..
I've found the best way to shave is buy cheap 2 blade disposables, usually 10p each or less. Shave in the shower or bath, the blades just glide through and last for 2-4 weeks each. I just use shower gel/shampoo as lubricant, no need for foam or any other fancy things

HDMI is a pure digital signal, it either connects or it doesn't, gold contacts, shielding and all this other flap is pure gimmick, buy a £1.50 cable and be astounded at it's simularity to this...
Dammit. Good deal. I ordered exactly the same for £1,899.99 only a week ago.

I'm not buying these. I only get angry when people rate my threads cold for an utterly unrelated reason. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 but when I see an iPhone 5 posted for £400 or lower, I'll rate it hot even though I would never buy an Apple product, this is based simply off the fact that I think someone else will save money. You have to remember this website is not just for you, it's everyone.

I'm done talking to you as I have to go to work now, enjoy ruining my posts and I hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year.

No that's the one there pulling with the ferrite cores malarky!
I thought it was oscar pistorius' leg
I don't think they're using legal Ferrite Cores. I see no FCAFL (Ferrite Cores Association of Ferrite Land) sticker that certifiers this.
The blood Ferrite Cores trade is becoming an ever increasing problem.

I'd link sources but i'm lying.

Damn I need to get back to work.
Hmm, electricity travels at the speed of light pretty much anyway so how much faster would you be wanting it?
Ferrite cores as far as i know will make **** all difference to a digital signal!

Well I looked and could not find a 1.4 cable with a lifetime warranty for 0.99p. Please point me in the right direction so I can get one

How long do HDMI cables live, anyway?

What do you need a lifetime warranty for? It's a HDMI cable.................

In case it breaks.

Right....... Except the cost of posting it back for a replacement will cost more than a new cable (as we've already established that these are available for 99p from time to time). Add in the fact that HDMI cables, as we know them now, probably have a 5-10yr lifespan as relevant kit (they'll be replaced by the next big thing) and a liftetime guarantee looks a bit silly.

Not necessarily, the one I got from amazon like this last time came away at one end after a pull!!
