12 year guarantee??

Comment: I've had that compressor for a few years - pretty accurate analogue gauge ie tallies to separate digital gauge, though can be a bit sluggish if large increase in pressure required (ie leaky tyre!) .

The screw on connection to Schrader tyre valve is preferable in my opinion to those 'press on' type connectors.

I bought the digital version from amazon last year. Pretty neat piece of kit an very accurate.

One thing to note is that upon release of the tyre cap you lose a little amount of air. It's best to inflate 0.5 PSI more than required to compensate for that.

got the digital one and its great,

Inflator on its own is 9.99 at Maplins if you dont need the extras. Heat added.

"Pressure up to 35 PSI"

Must be a mistake? My tyres have to go a little higher than this.

Snap mine are 39 psi, still if you need to use this then it's an emergency and that would be enough to get you moving

good if emergencies problem is garages are quick to scrap the Tyre or add a £20 surcharge to remove the lining

Compressor is the RAC610 rated at 100psi.

Hubby got this first thing in the morning and has been driving around with a punctured but an inflated tyre, looking for a garage to get a lock nut removed as we lost the key.:( So far, it has come to a great rescue! :)

I do the same. I think I prefer the thumb lock style because of this, it's quicker and easier. Pump works well though, i've got this analogue version and check it against my digital pressure gauge, it's pretty accurate.

I've had one of these for 2.5 years now, it has only just failed on me today, luckily just as the tyre was pumped all the way up. Can't complain for what I paid, 9.50. It might be fixable but I'll just replace it with the deal Towner mentioned at Maplins since I already have the other extras and much prefer using the spare wheel.
