I've had one of these for years, they're excellent.... I bought this one over the one with the digital display because there's a lot of reports of the digi display packing up.
Save money and buy this reliable one with the analogue gauge.

The digital version of this is a lot more accurate and has a better pump. The pressure gauge on the analogue is often incorrect and hard to read.

Isn't this the normal price?

Bought this last year for £11. Brilliant bit of kit. Highly recommended. Digital one even better but it is twice the price

£11.69 normal price

I purchased the digital one and it turned me into a newt. I got better.

I have two of the digital (fully automatic) RAC630 compressors and both have failed after relatively little use. The LCD display is broken on one of them and the other one is just dead. Crap quality and best avoided in my opinion.

I second the idea this is a good value item - mine's analog gauge is accurate per a digital gauge.

These small compressors vibrate a lot when they are running. The cheap digital LCD displays just cannot cope with this sort of punishment, its always only a matter of time until they fail.
The analogue gauges are far more robust, in fact I've never heard of one failing.

I've had the digital one for about five years now. It gets a lot of use, as I do loads of miles on my motorbikes, which results in the tyres needing topping up every two to three weeks. Still works perfectly, as does the digi display. But anyone who thinks the pressure read out on any compressor is accurate is mistaken. The only reliable way to check pressures is to use a decent quality gauge. Being a tenth or two of a bar out on a small car used around town might not matter, but on a 1200cc bike I'd rather get it right.

Well seeing as you check the pressure with a separate gauge, which incidentally I also do, you might as well have saved yourself some money and bought the cheaper one with the analogue gauge.
These digi gauges do fail, there is loads of complaints about it, so I don't see the point of paying extra for them.

Heat. Perfect for when you have a few drinks in a faded seaside resort in summer and want to get the lilo out to have a snooze on whilst happily floating into the English Channel.

Got one of these, fast at pumping compared to others I have used, accurate gauge, fairly neat and easy to use and put away. Well worth this money.

Had the digital which burned out after a couple of months use. Replaced with this and it's been going strong for a few years now.
Nice price! :)

Had the digital one for a few years now - no problems at all with the display.

Only issue I have had is that when inflating my bicycle tyres, I need to inflate them to 110psi. It can manage this but it can't go from say 100psi to 110psi so if they have lost a little pressure I have to deflate them to about 40psi to inflate them up to 110psi. If I try to do it when they are above 40psi then the motor stalls when it starts.

No problems with the car tyres though.

Me too.

I've had the digital version for about five years.
It still gives me no problems.

For the price though, Im considering getting one of these for when the inevitable happens.

I'll hold back then....it will drop again I'm sure.

The last thing I'm going to do is pay an over inflated price.
