Much better than the re-make which was quite good. The Japanese version has a much better atmosphere. One of the creepiest films you will ever see.

I just watched this last night expecting a wonderful roller coaster of fear and tension-wow, what a huge disappointment.I was soooooo bored through most of it and the only good bit came in the last 5 minutes.
I realise I am in a minority here as it came highly recommended to me by just about everyone.
Maybe I am just not easily scared.
Could anyone PLEASE recommend a really good horror/thriller?-I would be really grateful.
crum666 I have voted hot as it is a good price though not to my taste-thank you for posting.

me too, a bargain for this film but it didn't sustain interest and had only one genuinely novel moment, preffered Ju-on that had some quite scary moments, altho OTT!

Superb deal & film!

No offence, but Session 9 was overrated and ultimately sh!te in my eyes.

Best horror I've seen of late is Chaser (2008) Actually, it's just as much a drama/Thriller as it is a horror film, still a very good film whatever genre you'd class it as.

The worst and most overrated horror I've seen of late is Martyrs. Man, that film is laughably pretentious and tries oh so hard to shock. Inside (2007) was a much better french horror film.

would be pretty boring if we all liked the same films :)
Chaser sounds interesting, will have to look out for that one.

I thought session 9 was pretty good and Chaser is brilliant, but not really a horror (does contain one horrific scene).

Can you get Inside on DVD in the UK?

To be quite honest I do not know. Been keeping my eyes skimmed for a good deal on it. I 'have' the film, but not a retail version sadly. It is well worth buying though if you can find it.

I tend to make do with a xvid until a retail version is out, which seems fair enough if your going to buy it don't you think?

Shame that film producers don't realise that many people do this, and allow you to pre-order/buy the film with an included downloadable DivX of the film to watch until you recieve your DVD, Blu-Ray or whatever.
