not 1080p! :-D

(but a hot deal!)

Good price but for my car I would have to add £24.99 Harness Adaptor PC2-09-4 plus £14.99 for facia adpator and £20 to fit (it doesn't look an easy thing to do yourself)
#3
Brilliant, reserved one! I fitted my last head unit so this should be a breeze. For people that cant reserve, I found a code "AFF5APR" for 5% off - dont know if it still works though.
#4
good price so hot from me:thumbsup:

as long as you got a fairly modern car its real simple to fit as the wiring blocks are standard on all cars so its just a case of unplug your old unit and plug in the new one.

Dont think you'd notice on a 3 inch screen :p

How easy is it to fit one of these. I have a Vauxhall Zafira.

Is it a matter of taking the old one out, and plugging the ISO connector in, or is there wire cutting involved?

Suppose I should check with them in store.

edit: I just checked and need a harness for another 15-16 quid!
#7
Just bare in mind the screen turns off whilst you are driving so neither you or your passengers can see any of the dvd while the car is in motion.
#8
GREAT: some drivers will over-ride the dvd player, so, they can watch a dvd whilst driving..
Worse then using a mobile..............................for this reason COLD, but good price.

What a seriously ridiculous reason for voting cold, good price and the fact it could POSSIBLY be used when driving is absolutely no reason to vote the product cold.

I think the point is valid. Either you change the wiring, which is dangerous, or you can only watch your videos on a tiny 3" screen while you are parked. It does not give you auto cinema feeling either way, hm? So what is the point of this device?

Right on brother! Just voted a trimmer cold! Too many people are dying on the roads due to unsafe drivers trimming their muff's on their daily commute.
#15
good price, does this have equaliser settings or does the sound "sound" decent

i remember getting something before which was terrible and went back

it says 5 output to speakers, are they all aux out, 3 x aux (front rear, sub?)

might have to check some reviews out

Do you think it's silly for a driver to get distracted, whilst not looking where he is going and killing someone?

Like mobile phone calls, there are plenty of drivers make/receive call whilst drving.

So vote this cold because someone *might* wire it up in a way contrary to manufacturers recommendations, and then *might* watch it whilst driving their car and then *might* kill someone???
Are you for real?
I guess we'll have to vote cd deals cold now in case someone breaks one in half and goes on a killing rampage with it?
Or vote all car deals cold because people have accidents in them?
Or vote all computer deals cold because theirs porn and violence on the internet?
Get a life.

I suggest you get a life, the example you given are stupid, I have seen a few of these - rewired Normally done be teenagers)
If you can't get your head around the simple concept, that SAFETY COMES FIRST - then you are a idiot
( I happen to sell car radios)

Difference between watching a movie and using one for reversing -which you are using for safety

What's the point of in car dvd players? I know there are plenty of traffic jams about but I've never been sitting in my car thinking 'you know what, I wish I could watch a dvd on a tiny screen right now'

Too many of the car radios today, are over complicated with extras, it only needs you to take your eyes of the road for a split second.

Mr H&S you are talking out of your backside, there's no reason to vote this cold, not only is it cheap but (to keep you happy) it could also be a safety aid.
#25
It's not the gadgets that crash and kill people it's the stupid drivers . I've had a mobile for years and never used it while driving . Voting HOT !

At least we can agree on one point..................
#27
That you're Mr H&S?
#28
Doesn't everyone agree that's it's great when we get people voting cold because they obviously have no idea of how this site works. It's not about any moral crusade, it's about products at the cheapest we can find them. If everyone thought like you Mr Hancock, no deal would ever get hot, I mean if I saw a deal for a big box of fireworks that was half price I'd still vote it hot, even though I work in Burns and plastics and some of the damage I have seen is truely awful. Wake up and understand what this site is about, surely you aren't that thick?

It's about time people when made accountable for their actions, you work in A &E?
What do you say to the parents, when a child a is burnt, all because they saved a few bob on some fireworks, which by any respect are lethal.

Its a nice stereo!

You're mental.

Basic models for safety??? The plus points of most more advanced ones is added safety; bluetooth for handsfree; video inputs for cameras, MP3 so you don't have to change discs. You don't have a clue what your on about. Recommend a good basic model to me, from a safety point of view.

Thats a bit of a knobish statement? People will change CD's while driving, taking their eyes off the road, will change radio stations, flip through mp3's. The fact that it has a screen is irrelevent. No reason to vote cold.

So how do you change radio stations on the basic models? By telepathy or by reaching over and looking for the right button.

Or turning the volume up?

Or changing a CD?

The point is - its a relatively cheap price. If some moron misuses it, then its the moron who is at fault, not the item.

But that doesnt matter to Mr Hancock - they *might* change the wiring and they *might* watch a dvd whilst driving and they *might* crash and they *might* kill someone, therefore this is a cold deal...
