Comic genius, Leonard Rossiter, heads the cast of this enduringly popular comedy of lodgers versus their miserly landlord.

With lecherous but loveable landlord, Rigsby, obsessed with lovelorn spinster, Ruth Jones and her own affections tangled with African Prince, Philip and later the sophisticated, brylcreem-ed newcomer, Seymour, this hilarious comedy works its way out of the rising damp of unrequited love.

Simply Brilliant!
already got it its a must have at that price

pure quality
never heard of it
This blows George and Mildred and the Brittas empire outta the water . I wasn't around when originally aired but these are timeless . Rigsby is such a legend . Leonard Rossiter was born and bred a stones throw away from me in Liverpool , such a shame he died so young .
Loveable landlord? apart from that HOT!
The greatest sitcom of all time.

Yes, just like your post on George and Mildred, you're not old enough. WE GET IT!
Great series, dated now though.
Great Price, H+R
Great deal :)

24 episodes in total, certainly a bargain.

ps. Did you know Leonard Rossiter was once married to Josephine Tewson, who played Hyacinth’s neighbour Elizabeth in “Keeping Up Appearances”
it's not in the same league as two pints of lager.....,u know i'm joking!TRUE classic comedy.....good deal:thumbsup:
Good but the film was a let down as it was mostly a mish mash of series episodes.
Great Just Ordered Thanks I Just Love This Series
The film is just a mish mash of contents from the series and does not come across well because it is set in a real house as opposed to a set in a studio.

The George and Mildred film also used lines/jokes from the series but introduced a storyline involving a deadly assasin ! WTH !
Thanks for this. Just ordered. Great price for great comedy! Much appreciated.
