because it has virtually no flavour , you can flavour it like tofu.

and just like tofu, you can also change its texture and consistency though various means I.e. curry, pan fry, deep fry etc.

I would suggest try a jar of pataks butter chicken and shallow fry the paneer in cubes lightly with either a small amount of garam masala or tandoori masala. then cook it in butter chicken sauce , for butter paneer. serve with naan bread.

Don't forget to place a sprig of fresh coriander on the plate and put it on your Instagram and Pinterest!

enjoy!

I buy the everest brand from asda and Costco. it's for a nicer consistency and lovely buttery flavour, as opposed to slightly rubbery texture with no flavour which some of these have.
since switching to Everest I now refuse to buy any other brand.

(awaiting my cheque from Everest!.. kaching! )

it's still £1 in my local. I've tried it a couple of times a few weeks apart. Both times it was virtually flavourless so I went back to Everest paneer which had been £1.35 for the same size pack for a while in asda.

25p has got to be below the production cost so probably RTC, nice price if you don't mind somewhat subtle flavour.
