I think teenager might be a little too old for Dahl, my wife has just read the whole collection to our seven and five year olds and they loved them. Hopefully as their reading develops they will read them again to themselves.

Yeah I know that :) I bought them around 3 years ago when my teen was 10 or so,I remember reading going solo when I was around 14,so I'm sure they can be enjoyed at any age depending on what you like.

I missed out almost completely on Dahl when I was young, I seem to recall having Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator read to me by my Dad and him being extremely unimpressed, I think my parents thought Dahl was too "weird" :( Oh well, my kids ain't gonna have that obstacle to good literature!
