Because the other offer is for a book club. After spending £8 on the books you have to buy 4 other books at near retail price with £3 delivery on each of those books.

Yeah I nearly went for the other deal until I read the T&C.

Depending on what your needs are both deals are good. I prefer this one as I am not tied to any future purchases (although you can cancel the remaining 4 book order). So hot from me

Sense speaks, I wouldnt touch the other deal with a bargepole due to the T&C's the books they tie you to buying can be bought for around half that with some shopping around.

I don't think you can cancel the other 4 book order (I was never able to when I used to join book clubs). The best you could do was order 4 books in a single order to reduce the postage charge to 1 single £3 charge.

and even then you have to cancel the editors choice each and every month or they send it

Varies. I think Fantastic Mr Fox and the Magic Finger are around age 7/8, whilst Matilda and the Charlie books are couple of years older. The BFG and Danny the Champion of the World is older again, around 12 I think. Don't quote me on these though :whistling:

I've just bought these for my soon to be 5 year old. Although they are for us to read to her at night time, I thought a chapter a night was more interesting than some of her other books. Shes now into Harry Potter too so might start them soon as well. And a chance for me to read them all over again. lol. :)
