2.27ltr & 4pint are the same thing... I'll just add 4pint back in..........

On milk bottles this size it states both 4pints & 2.27ltr anyway....

Cheap but no red tractor sadly. The word 'pus' comes to mind. ;-)

The problem seems to be this: because they are farmed so intensively, dairy cows get mastitis, a painful udder infection which creates loads of pus. Around a third of dairy cows will have the infection at any one time, so a lot of it ends up in the milk we drink.

There can legally be up to 400 million pus cells in every litre of milk in the UK. It also contains antibiotics and growth factors given to the cows, and since a dairy cow spends most of its life pregnant, it’s full of cow hormones.

That said I do like drinking cows milk which I find kinda disturbing given the above.

    Good price :)

Not sure if that last comment was appropriate! Although I do try and stick to soya milk when I can for several reasons.

The Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy scheme sets out to maintain, develop and promote Assurance standards within the dairy industry. The aim is to provide consumers and retailers with confidence about product quality attributes of the milk leaving the farm premises, including food safety, animal welfare and environmental protection.
Red Tractor Farm Assured British milk is world class. It is produced on farms that are managed by highly professional, well-qualified and caring stockmen. Certification to Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy standards allows producers to demonstrate that their standards of husbandry and welfare meet nationally agreed levels of best agricultural practice.
Previously known as Assured Dairy Farms (ADF), and even before that NDFAS, the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy scheme is now fully integrated into Assured Food Standards (AFS).

I believe the cheapest red tractor milk are the 4 pinters in Lidl for a £1.

This is why so many dairy farmers are going out of buisiness we have already.
