Why do you ask , have your lost your mum ?
Which one do you want to go with? Why not pick the one you think is the funny
Because that makes sense doesn't it ..... ;) Why not try a little harder next time as you just came across as illiterate pal , sorry.
I can only assume I hit a nerve with one of my answers , I'm going with the 'Why do you ask , have you lost your mum?' , am I right ?
Illiterate how exactly?
You didn't hit a nerve at all. I was joking with the female comment and you tried being funny, then tried a second time. Neither of which were actually funny.
Now run along and troll another thread

'Which one do you want to go with? Why not pick the one you think is the funny' ..... and you see nothing wrong with this ? I rest my case ;)

Ps - You made a joke with the female comment in your attempt to be funny , I replied with my attempt , okay 2 attempts and this makes me a troll , lol , Really ?

Dunelm is cheapest retailer I think, £4.78 for 40 bags
This is 3 for the price of 2.
And as stated if you have to add delivery then Dunelm is cheaper if you want 3 and have a store closer!
Actually it's not, with or without delivery. They both charge £3.95 for delivery.
This offer is 40bags which is 120 for £10.78, dunelm is £14.34 without delivery.
Thanks
Correct my comparison was adding delivery for this 'deal' vs being able to walk into a dunelm and collect, in my area Robert Dyas is a long long way whereas dunelm have a lot of stores so collecting is easier. £14.73 for 3 bags incl delivery vs £14.34 in Dunelm
Oh, ok, I'm on london and both are near my shopping area so both walk ins. If delivered for both, Robert dyas comes up trumps again. We have to compare like for likes.

Very interesting reading some of the comments here about seasoning the pan. That's how Chinese restaurants get their noodles nice and smokey tasting. Once I get my gas cooker installed I'm planning on giving it a try.

You'll not be able to get the massive jet of gas used in Chinese restaurants, but you do get hobs with triple burners on them to use with woks so you can get reasonably close. I had a new kitchen fitted last year but decided to go the induction route. Adding in a separate wok burner would have just cost too much money, unfortunately, so I can't do stir-frying as well as I could have done. Oh well. It is incredibly easy to clean, which was the plan!

My mother had a induction burner but it cracked. They look so pretty though. Easy to clean too :)

Anyone know how good/durable ceramic pans are?

In my experience, very good. I bought a Sainsburys own brand pan a couple of years ago in a sale, in fact I bought two as the price was so good. I have never used the second one and the other is my go to pan. I also have a couple of "decent" pans, Analon and Stellar, but seldom use them now. I do treat the pan with care, only plastic or wooden utensils, but the coating is a good as new, you just can't get anything to stick. Highly recommended, but other makes may vary.

I have used plain carbon steel, but just not worth the effort, if you need a good sear go for a solid cast pan.

I previously owned a Greenpan wok and frying pan. It was absolutely brilliant for a couple of months but the non-stick quickly degraded and subjectively, I'd say it didn't remain non-stick nearly as long as a teflon pan. I don't think this was down to user error!

Wilko do 8 for £1 normal price AA & AAA

I think it's actually 90p for 8 at Wilko. They're the cheapest anywhere (excepting 1-off specials) for alkalines. Don't really understand why this deal is so hot when you can buy essentially the same thing at Wilko (which are on most high streets) for almost half the price!

Are these not always around this price?
Usually, but sometimes there are deals around with discount vouchers for instance. My cheapest was around £11 with all the accessories, from Aldi because the box was damaged - it was the last one and they wanted rid of it - although everything else was OK. Not very well made though as one side of the handle pops out sometimes which makes it dangerous! Hinged lid is much safer. Also the electronic timer and heat settings were incorrectly set so that you had to fiddle with them. Set at 60c & 60mins when most people (at least me anyway!) consistently use it at around 200c & 10/15mins, as it cooks so fast.

60 @ 60, I'll try that, cheers!

no heat for me because i can buy these at this price allday long.i got one with a hinged lid which is the top model.no heat this time.

That's an even better deal as the hinged lid is definitely safer to use than the wobbly hinge-free lid when its hot!
Got mine for £25 at Iceland in January. Good unit.
Similar models are cheaper on eBay.

Just an update. Returned my WV2 PREMIUM at tesco and rebought it for £17
Dingez999
Currently £34.99 for the WV2 premium in Tesco. Picked one up last night from Tesco Ricoh in Coventry, plenty of stock. Told it was national as part of an event running over next few weeks. Also had WV2 (unit only) label on shelf but no stock left listed for £30.00 (reduced to clear) again was advised this will be national, but worth paying the £4.99 for the extra's in the premium pack.
Thanks for the tip. Managed to get one from Peel centre in Bradford. Why don't you add it in HUKD.
these are really good we use one to dry the shower down after using it as the water here is really hard. they were cheap on amazon recently. I normally only get about 4months use before the battery plays up, not charging and flashing green light (google it is a massive problem for these)

Have this and been using them for occasional work at on bike/house/furniture etc. No problem at all. Recommend and definitely worth the cash. Those people saying these are crap are doing heavy duty projects everyday all day long I guess?
Not so...I had to drill a 10mm hole, pre drilled to 8mm with an old (had fer years) Non Rolson bit, in an internal wall of a council flat, and the BRAND NEW (bought for the job) 10mm Rolson masonry drill bit burnt out in seconds...it's ALL in the brand name...it's CRAP.

whereas I don't doubt this set is crap and your Rolson bit was crap too, you're doing it wrong if you're drilling an 8mm hole then following up with a 10mm bit. You don't want to load up any drill bit just on its outer edge of you'll snap the edges off - you want to get at least half to a third of the cutting surface in contact with material or you put too great a stress concentration on it. If you want/need to predrill a 10mm hole don't use anything larger than a 6mm bit to do so.

You can't blame the tools for being crap if you're using them wrong..
rolson just rebrand tools from many many manufacturers so not all of it is rubbish

Well the comments posted before you has pointed out this set has been all right but other Rolson has been terrible. Thus your experience with their drill bits, which is not in this set, is not that relevant? I'm a basic DIYer and not tools expert but I've been using this set for years finding them ok. I even bought a small set of Rolson precise screwdriver set also served occasional jobs without any problem at all.

Normally I'd be the first person to trot out the "It's Rolson, therefore it must be crap", but... I've had one of these for over 10 years (branded JCB) and used it for most DIY jobs in that time. Apart from the case eventually falling to bits and managing to break the blade of the largest flat blade screwdriver using to try and lever something, it's still in pretty much full working order.

It never occurred to me it might be Rolson because everything else I've ever used of theirs has been absolutely terrible.

Thank you for the explanation, I dont think you are to blame.
TBH, anyone with a bit of common sense will understand that a £50 Jukebox is not going to compare with a £5,000 Jukebox. Post #3 seems to be where matters go off topic, its all to very easy for one silly post to steer a deal off topic.
That is the problem with this site, far to many silly people making ridiculous comments.
Yep, I can't argue with that although I have made a few daft comments in my time I'm sure :D

Ok so let's call this a 'jukebox style' speaker. Now the only other thing that would make it blindingly obvious that it's not a fully working jukebox is the price. Now where's the 'slap forehead' icon?
Probably need to make it clear that although it's floor standing it's not as tall as a typical jukebox..... would hate for someone to just buy this without checking first :Dhttps://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1101/9720/products/1_7437df28-e5ed-4fd1-b288-bb990f01e8b8_2048x2048.jpeg?v=1450672799
You only have to read my description and you will already see the size measurements. I would imagine people would read the description on the Robert Dyas website before ordering.
Why do members on here feel the need to slate a product just because they dont like it, this site is NOT about personal tastes, whether you like a product or not. (_;)
The site is about DEALS, offers where products go on offer and a good saving can be made.
I should have been clearer, my comments were to help those understand that this is not directly comparable to a £5000 jukebox. My apologies if you took this as a dig at your deal which was not my intention.
