I have this radio, I paid £58 about 8 mths ago.
I'm really pleased with it, I do a lot of work in the middle of nowhere and it is very good at picking up a digital signal when I wouldn't expect it to.
Hot from me.

I was interested in this but a couple of the reviews on Argos put me off, said the sound wasn't great,is that because it's mono and not stereo perhaps.

More likely because its a cheap mono speakers.
I got the Roberts ecologic which doesnt sound too good but at least it doesnt eat batteries for breakfast like most DAB radios.

Buy if it has a feature you want and are listening to speech radio otherwise for music more money will get you a decent sound.

If it helps deb8z, this model is a Which? Best Buy:

This Roberts Best Buy model is simple but effective - producing satisfactory sound quality whatever the track and it's super-easy to use.
